Santa has a sense of humor

Hi everyone, I wrote to Santa and told that you guys have been very good over the year, and in particularly I mentioned that Chris from Argentina had done so marvelously all year round. Santa promised to reward you.

Santa was very amused to know how diligently James has been doing his yoga practice. I bet Naheed did not realize beforehand that James would get himself so involved with yoga.

As I have already mentioned, we are living the dark period in Finland (kaamos). In Lapland there is no daylight at all. Here in Oulu, where I live, we have some light for about 3 – 4 hours daily (from 9.00 – 13.45).

HYOSHIL, Marianna and Anita thank you for your comments. I was so pleased to hear Ana Paula did so well with her studies. I want to wish you and everyone, who may be reading this a very Happy Christmas time.

Christmas is a time to relax and gather strength for the on coming year, so let us all have some time for ourselves over the festivity season. The time is a very important religious festival here in Finland, as Easter time is too, just as you Chris mentioned on your blog some time ago.

Take care where ever you are, and remember Santa thinks of you. Merry Christmas!

Leila from Finland

Comments

Hello Leila. I can't imagine the intire day without daylight even in you place where you've told us that you have some 3 or 4 hours of daylight it sounds very sad. Curious also but sad in ineed. What do you use to do at this night time. I suppose that too many people use to be inside their houses and there is nobody to see walking on the streets. Am I right or wrong? I really would like to know what happens at this season in the so far Finland. Regards from Brazil!!!!!

Oh Leila, thank you very much. I will be waiting for Santa's presents :-) Best wishes, Cris

Thanks for all your contributions. This blog has now closed and can no longer accept new comments.
