Wednesday, life is as usual

Hello friends,
Today, life is as usual.

Daytime’s temperature is 26°C (79°F) in Ilan city, and it is a winter sunny day. Northwest wind is a bit stronger, Beaufort scale 3. I would like to show a photo as below, you can see the wind of blowing over my body, and what costume I dressed today for a daily work life at my office.

It

I drove 12 minutes from home to my office, 6 km far away. Our working time is 8:00-12:00, 13:30-17:30, we have a 1.5 hours lunch break, most people have their lunch at office and take a short half hour nap at office desk, it’s a habit of Taiwanese/China/Asian, sort of a hobby of Taiwanese. However, I have changed/quitted this noon-nap habit for many years. And, I drove back home for lunch and turned back to office afterwards. Taiwan time is GMT +8.

Writing to here, I found something which is new experience to me, Life as usual is a simple thing, but, to describe it in English is not so simple to me.

Best wishes,
James

Hi James! Step by step I like your post more and more. Your ideas are great! The wind it was, I had to laugh aloud. Just yesterday I said to you I didn´t find a mistake! But I hope very much your teacher Alex will come this time to approve this expertly.

Thank you for your post. I think is very interesting to share notices, experiences and comments...in english, of course. Best regards Alvaro

Hello James! I have been reading your posts with pleasure. If I had that lunch break for an hour and a half, I guess I would have listen to English podcasts on my office computer. :-)Keep writing to us, good wishes.

Hi James, here in Spain me make "siesta". I didn't know that it was usual in Asia. Here is more a topic than a reality. Anyway, I make everyday 20 minutes into my car. Sometimes I think that somebody could think that I'm dead or similar, but it doesn't matter me. I feel Ok, and after my performaces are better. Bye. Toni

Hi James Itis very great to be able to rean some articles from Taiwanese in BBC learning website. I also seldom take a nap at noon. I always ply table tennis about one hour after lunch everyday until some years ago because my partner stop playing. According to medical report, it is good for health to have a nap at noon. Do you think so? Maybe it is suitable for someone, but it's not for others. Best regards.

hi james nice to see you as a creative bloger again . have a nice bloging month . bye

Thanks for all your contributions. This blog has now closed and can no longer accept new comments.
