Many greetings from Slovakia!

Hello everyone! I do hope you are all doing well.

This is Anita, the former student blogger (Sep 06)

It seems to me that the year 2008 is somehow unique, as the BBC LE team gave us the opportunity to blog and catch up with each others at the beginning of the year and now, in December, the year’s last month. Thank you so much! Wow! How exiting!

Well, firstly I would like to greet everyone who is taking part in the open blog – student and teacher bloggers, commentators. I do hope that my teacher, Lewis Davies will have a little time for us because I am so curious to see his pictures of his baby boy, Oscar and to hear his news. Please, do not keep me waiting for too long, Lewis.

I cannot express how happy I am to write again. However, I am afraid I cannot manage the time to write every day. December is a very, very busy month at my work and as a mother and wife I am usually snowed under with work in December getting ready for Christmas as well. But I will try my best, promise.

I have visited England twice this year. Firstly, I was in Reading in June when my daughter graduation ceremony was and secondly a week ago in London. I would like to write you about my journeys to the UK and send a lot of pictures. As I said, I got back home just last Tuesday so I have already experienced a little of the Christmas atmosphere in England and I have a big surprise for you all but I do not want to let the cat out of the bag. I have attached a couple of photos of the Christmas lights in Regent Street, Carnaby Street in London.

Quick guide to the third photo: my daughter and me on the London Eye

OK, I will end here hoping to hear from you all soon. I want to wish you a great time reading the entries, writing posts and comments, looking at the pictures.

Take care! See you soon,

Anita
