How to practice English?

Hi everyone ! shalom!Hallo!Hola !
Ohayou gozaimasu !Ciao!!!!! Xin chào !
Ahoj! Salut ! Ni hao !

Have you ever stopped to consider how many people are saying "hello" to each other today and in how many different languages? If you wanted to say "hello" to everyone on the planet, you would have to learn at least 2,796 languages and say "hello" to at least 6,500,000,000 (six and a half thousand million) people, (or six and a half billion, in numbers used in the US).

Well,as you can see there are a lot of ways to say hello in different languages. Each of us speaks their native language but thanks to English that keeps people from around the world together. How that language is important for us !

I myself think the best way to be fluent in any language is practice it .Maybe a lot of people here will agree with me at that point.Where people tend to go to practice a language? They tend to go to that country where that language is spoken. It's the best way that I can see from my experience of learning Czech language. When I was in Vietnam I just though English is spoken in Czech or at least people speak French there !!!!

As you can see how someone that had ever known about that language could manage with it now ^^!(Sorry,I am not that haughty girl to speak about myself that way)Just want to tell you an example of the power of practice a foreign language :)
It's really difficult when you can be in contact with the language you are learning.Whenever you learn a new word you can practice it immediately right.?You see that word in various ways.

I still remember when I started with Czech numbers with brother we used to go to the smaller shops to just buy some sweets :)At the first time we couldn't understand what the sellers said so for sure we gave them the banknote ^^!though the sweets cost only a few Czech crowns :P Whenever we came to visit our uncle he always asking us why we both have such that heavy pockets =)) we used to change those coins to get the banknotes from our uncle ^^!

When we learn the vocabularies of vegetables we again chose the market to practice them.If we had gone to the supermarket ,we haven't got that change of speaking those new words. In the markets at least we had to say it,ask for the prices and so on ...So for that what I can speak now in czech is totally different from English. Shame on what I have learn for those years in English :((

Well, back to to main topic ^^ only a few people have that chance to go to England or to the US,Canada or Australia where English is spoken as an official language. They are lucky right ?But there are many many ways that can helps you to practice English though you don't have to go to those countries :P

Let's practice English on the net ! Of course BBC is a great site to learn English but unfortunately there isn't any place to practice it ????Let me tell you some websites that I found in the summer and after being there as a member I am more into English.

Though some of you will say it's waste of time by practicing it that way.Well,I myself felt the same !!! but 4,5 months after when I am here blogging I have to appreciate that time spending on chatting in English with people from around the world ! I am someone that spend almost of free time in front of the screen so that fits me more than learning all day those grammar lessons and have no chance to use whatever I have learned .

Those websites offer you the precious chance to talk to people from different countries,to know something more about their habits, views of this life and of course the most important thing is have a chance to practice that language
.When you are so nice you can offer your native language to the others that want to learn it from you .

The links for those websites

If anyone of you have any experiences how to learn a foreign language ,let us now please .We are looking forward to seeing your advices !!!!

Have a nice evening !

Linda

P/S: The end of October is coming so i can see this entry will be one of my last entries
here. That's something I have to accept though it's really really difficult for me.....
I have a lot of things to write here but I still couldn't find the way how to "catch the time and put it into a surgery then operate on it make it an invalid :) " So then any of us won't have to say how time goes by so fast all the time :P
