Praha-Prague

Hi everybody!Hi Simon!

How are you all? I feel really happy now because finally my computer is fixed. Guess, who repaired it ? My brother ! He is unuseful all the time but whenever we have some problems with anything according to computer ,he seems to be someone another ! He became a specialist at once .ok first of all I want to thank all of you sharing with me your problems .Yes,every issue has its time to be resolved.

Well ,I have come back from Prague .I have some lessons there every Saturday .At the end of that lesson the professor told us a joke !That’s a typical of him, some funny stories of his memories from the time he has been a student. That joke was about a simple English sentence ( feel this one a little bit weird when he was talking about medicine huh?Yes,he is strange, but his mention is good.At least his jokes make us laugh every time )Ok but any way here is that sentence :Mr. Green will not meet his classes today. My professor and all members of his class were so happy when someone from other class came and wrote this sentence on the board. That means they could go home. But then that guy came back and clear the letter c of the word classes .He said sorry to all because he found out Mr.Green will come in a few minutes later and because that guy was so lazy to clear all the sentence so he cleared only that letter.Mr.Green came,he was looking at the sentence ...He decided to clear the letter L.So now I think all of you can imagine how Czech professors can allow to talk to their students .

Now I want to continue telling you something about Prague .Prague is often considered as the city lying right in the very heart of Europe. Others prefer the expression hundred-towered Prague. It’s the city will full of historical monuments, castles…Not that big like the other capital cities like London ,Paris and so on but it’s an unique one .Prague became a Gothic metropolis of European significance during the government of the king and emperor Charles IV, who found the Charles university in 1348,the oldest and also the most famous one in Czech.

Here are those places that you can’t miss to visit.
Prague castle-founded from the 9th century, since 1918 It has been the seat of the President.

Prague Castle

Charles Bridge-Karlův most-found by Charles IV.There are a lot of barogue scuptures and sculptural groups on the bridge ,mostly from the 18th century.

Among the most frequently visited places in Prague is the Old Town Square where a large number of monuments are situated, the most special thing is the horological clock

Wenceslas square-Vaclavske namesti-the longest in the country with 750 metres in length.

^^ I am sure there are many many places that make will you feel interested in but I am pretty lazy right now to continue this entry .I’ll tell you more next time.

Any way I want to introduce all of you a very interesting site for expats living in Prague. It’s in English and most members of that sites are expats living here or those people who have been to Czech and so on .So you can get some advice from them. You can also get Survival Guide and Business Directory ,It’s a free 170 page guide with helpful advice and services for every expat living in the Czech Republic

Welcome back Linda! I often have some problems with my computer like you. I don't have any person in my home to be fixed it. You are lucky to have the brother who has that kind of skill. It is very valuable. After he fixed it I think He will ask you to do for him. When I was a child, my elder brother would do something for me. After doing it He would ask me to do for himself. When he tried to take some rights from my mother for example about being outside night I used to promised him to support him against my mother and the like... I have nice memories about it. It reminded my memories and made me smiled. By the way your photos are very very nice. were they taken by you? I am very excited to read your writings. Bye for now. :))

Hi Linda! Guess what! Your blog has been chosen as an exercise in my English lessons in Spain. That's what happens when someone writes something on the Internet, an incredible way to know about what different people think and do in another country. After reading lots of things about you, I feel like having some English lessons in Prague next summer. Maybe we can meet there and you show me the incredible might be your city. We keep in touch. Take care. All the best from Salamanca (Spain). By the way, greetings to all my classmates who are reading my entry at the moment (see you next Tuesday, mates!) ;-)
