Cities
Hi Simon and friends!
Actually, I don´t live in São Paulo city. I live in a city 50 km far from there called Mogi das Cruzes.

So, it doesn´t take me much time to go to São Paulo. As a matter of fact, it depends on the place where you go. For instance, if you want to go to Pinacoteca, it takes you 30 minutes to get there by train.
Although we´re near São Paulo, my city still manages to keep its countyside characteristcs. The religion traditions are very strong around here. One of the most important events of the city is a 300 years party before Pentecost. Apart form that, the air is fresher and you´re able to see the stars during the night. A real balsam for those who spend the whole day working at the chaotic but extremelly charming city of São Paulo.

Well, if on one hand Mogi has been seeing the growth of the industry, on the other hand the agricultural market is still strong as ever. The city is responsible for the distribution of vegetables and green leaves for all the state. Which by the way it´s wonderful for us here, because we can buy vegetables and fruits for a very good price :-).
Anyway, Simon, I´ve just remembered of another good Brazilian musician, Marcelo D2. He does a mixture of rythms, like rap and samba. I´ve sent to a friend of mine, Carmen ( I´m glad you´ve like D2 :-) ) a video of one of his song "Gueto" ( Ghetto). If you have the opportunity to browse on the YouTube you won´t regret. It´s pretty cool :-)
Friends, I love reading your comments. Thanks a lot for sending them :-).
Amy, it´s so nice to see your comment here :-)! Well, I´ll sit for the exam in the beginning of December. This month I have to go to the English centre in order to do my enrollment.
Marco, nice to see you here too :-). Ooh... I think you would be a good blogger. Why don´t you have a go?
Maurício, it´s nice to see you on the blogs again :-). I´t was really interesting to read about your CAE experience. This exam is my go, but as I don´t have English enough to take it I´m starting with the FCE. By the way, you live in Rio de Janeiro state, don´t you?
Hi Monica, I´ve come to know the FCE exam has changed. Therefore, we´re facing some difficults in finding mock tests to practise because of the changes of the test. Do you know something? My teacher says the same to me and my classmate. Reading is the best way to improve :-). Anyway, I´d just like to say that I really look up to you. I was always stunned when I read your comments on teacher Stephen blogs. Your English is fabulous. I wish one day I colud have a bit of your knowledge :-).
Hey Niddo! I´m glad you´ve become a Vander Lee fan :-).
Welcome Wagner! I hope you become a regular in this blog area too :-).

Dear Ana, interesting pictures Best wish
Hello Ana Paula. The answer is yes. I really enjoyed the film, and the end is very, very, very emotive. I recommend it to you a lot. Regarding your post, I think that living in Mogi you actually get the best of two worlds, and that is amazing nowadays. In the part where you told us about religions traditions, you put a picture of a sinagoge. Am I right? I saw Marcelo D2 in youtube and he was a nice surprise, because he is very good in my opinion. I didn't get very well the lyric, but the parts I understood are very acid. Aren't they? Can you post more pictures of you in following days. Bye.
Hi again Ana ! Mogi seems to be a nice place to live, surrounded by hills and trees and yet it's modern at the same time. I don't live in Buenos Aires, I live in a province called Mendoza (which it's known for the wine production, actually some call it 'the city of wine'). I'd like to visit your country some time. The first things that come to my mind when I think of Brzail are: samba, carnival, beaches, hot weather, cute guys haha. Is it like this? (I hope so!) It's in my list of places I want to visit :D I had no idea the FCE test had changed. Is it more difficult now? Well, I hope you have a great week. Hugs, Liz
Hi Paula, Hope my message will appear on your comments this time. Hey, Mogi das Cruzes seems to be a spectacular place to live. I love the picture you posted. On the other hand it's good that you don't live in the hustle bustle Sao Pablo and at the same time you're not so far from it. Looking forward to your next blog. Much love, Cris
Hey Ana, It's great to know about Sao Paulo and Mogi das cruzes even more. I've just listend to Marcelo it's fantastic. I think I am agian going become a regular commentator to the blogs which I haven't been recently. Naheed xxx
Your country is lovely.Wishing I'll be visited your country
Hi Ana, I've posted a comment on your previous blog but it didn't appear :(. This spam manager has been always annoying, hasn't it?.I think i should watch Marcelo D2 video on youtube. I never heard about him. Anyways, i've crossed my fingers for your FCE exams :). Best of luck. Bye. Mahjabeen

Hey Ana, thank you for the pictures - they are great! But do they show São Paulo or Mogi? Anyway, it would be great to visit you there someday :-) see ya, Carmen xxx
Hello Ana Paula!I like the side "daily life" of your posts, it's lively. Your town is kind of the garden of your country.Does it take many people on? My area is also rich in market gardens but veges remain expensive. Fortunately I've got a garden and for several months I pick and eat my own products. It gives me quite a lot of work but the contact with the earth and its cycles is good for the mind. A work where you can completely unwind. And on the top of that the reward a bit later... in your plate!!! Bye for now.
Hi Ana Paula, Though I am late but welcome to the blog land. I was very busy in my office work so I couldn't be a regular commentetor for last two weeks. I was expecting Marvin while opening the website but you were there. I was excited when I saw your picture. I liked the photos very much. See you in your next blog.
Hi Ana Paula, Your place seems to grow up from the forest. The one have the feeling that right behind high-rise buildings may enter real jungle, which makes living in this city very attractive - close to nature, or at least closer. Of course for many it is no the value, They simple don't notice what's around them and see a tip of their nose olny. Thankfully more and more people acknowledge what is imporant, concrete will never substitute the green. I'm thinking about taking FCE exam in the future, I'm looking forward to hear from you about your preparations and examination itself. That's all for now. By :-)
Hi Ana Paula, thank you for introduction of your place.I like to know about the places which I don't know much.I like your photos. You live in a beautiful place, don't you? And a station is gold! Amazing. It's very nice. Bye for now.
Dear Ana, After a long time I got an opportunity to open this blog site. I was really surprised when I found your name as a student blogger in stead of Marvin. As you said in your blog religious traditions are very strong in your locality, can you give us some information about that. The main thing I pointed out is that your city is free from pollution. Main drawback in most of cities is pollution which hazards our life. Photos are very nice.
Hi Ana, I've heard of Mogi das Cruzes a lot in my life. It's important not only for agriculture but do you know it's a reference in our country for Legal Dentistry? When I see the Luz Station picture, I remember the episode of your sister's shoes. :-D I hope my belated comment appears. I couldn't wait for your blog yesterday at night. I was so tired! Bye Adri
Hi Ana! Thanks for sharing with us the photos! I remember those ones of Itapety Moutain you sent me time ago. It seems a nice place to live in! I agree with Carmen: maybe we'll visit you someday... ("BBCLE facebook group tour operator") : P ohhh, me a blogger? thanks, but I do not know how you manage to do all the things you do. I couldn't... compliments see ya marco
Hi, I was very busy the last days and I couldn't write a comment. I know you for your comments in previous months but I did'nt read when you were the blogger last year. I took FCE many years ago, I wonder if today I would pass it. Good luck and thank you for the photos
