Hello Simon and Friends!
Once more I have the fantastic opportunity to be here with you. Many thanks again to Dima and all the BBC LE staff. This Blogland has been helping to brush up on my English everyday. Therefore, I´m really glad to be part of it :-).
Well, I´d like to wish Marvin all the best in his CELT training. I know that it isn´t easy to deal with the toughness of an exam preparation and also with our feelings of frustation. I´m preparing for the FCE exam, and sometimes I feel a bit disappointed with my performance in the mock tests. However, I think we have to bear in mind our goal in order to go ahead. Marvin, don´t worry you´ll succeed in getting your certificate :-).
Oh, I think I have to introduce myself properly. My name is Ana Paula and I´m from São Paulo, Brazil. I was a student blog last year ( April/2007) and I´m a regular commentator here in this blog. Actually, this blog area is a kind of additiction to me ( oh, a good one!). I´ve met wonderful people here and some of them have become very close friends.
At the moment I´m trying hard not to tear my hair out because of the FCE exam. Simon I hope you can help me, please. My weak points are Use of English ( structural cloze and key word transformation) and lack of attention. Anyway, I´m doing my best to fix up these important gaps :-).
Hey friends! Is there anyone who is preparing or has already taken an International English exam?
Well Simon, I listened to your program last Saturday and I found fab :-). Gosh! I couldn´t identify your voice. Anyway, I´ll listen to it again next weekend.
All the best and see you tomorrow,

Ana Paula.

Welcome back dear Ana We are already friends:) I wish you will post everyday by sharing your many many ideas. I wish you will talk too about your hobby of reading because I loved it when I read it in your previous blog. Yes I'm preparing to my IELTS test, it's never never easy! but it's worth it. I'm sitting to this test in next December
Dear Ana Paula, welcome here, what a joy it is and even I am not sruprise. I am going to explain straightforward, though, you might not believe it. I was pondering about how it will turn out with this blog and Marvin´s writing here during my Saturday´s walk and I remembered of you and that wonderful unbeaten blog exchange between you and Alex. I doubted if I would have a possibility or courrage to adress you again. You may be sure that I promissed to remember of you at the snowfall at any case. Even I wasn´t sure if I should not open that facebook. I am trying to live without this time-consuming thing and do not open it at home not to mention I am unable to work with it well. Now, I am so delighted seeing your smiling and beauty face. Another thoughts similar to yours troubled me too. There is so many grammar I come along at reading books which would be the most reasonable to consult with some teacher. So, I am looking forward you are going to do this now instead of me. All the best!
Welcome (back) Ana... I hope Marvin can pass CELT test and then back to the blog (as teacher...). btw Ana, where is the location of your picture?..is it your home?
Hi Ana Paula, nice to meet you again,I like to read your blog.
Hallo Ana Paula, It's very nice to see You. I'm looking forward to read you blogs, and I am very pleased with your presence on the BBC. All the best!
HI,Ana It's great to see you landing on blogland safely and you look very well.I clearly remenber how wonderful,so informative and funny letters you wrote. I spent many times on chuckling and reading them and the teacher's blogs last year of April.I am sure you'll bring the cosy and friendly atmosphere here once more and I can't wait to read your lettes again.I did take the FCE exam about 5 years ago.It was my third trial when I finally passed the exam.It seemed very hard and hopeless whenever I couldn't make it but I had no choise except pushing myself to the limit. So my humble advice will be that first you must rivise for your weakist erea many many times and if you can get some old exam papers you'd better have a go.you'll learn some anticipation what you'll have to deal with.I hope it will help you a bit and I am looking forward to seeing you soon.xx
Hi Ana, nice to meet you.I'm new of this blog, but reading all the comments left by the others ones I think you are an interesting blogger. sorry but what are CELT and FCE. I wait tomorrow to read youe news again.see you soon.
Hi Ana Paula! Welcome on the board! How lovely to see you on the blogs again. I have been on holiday in Montenegro for a week. I turned the PC on immediately after we had arrived. I was so glad to see your nice smile in the picture. I am looking forward to reading your news. Best wishes,
Cordially welcome Ana, I am so happy that you are the new student blogger, the first entry is very good, your English and knowledge are better than before. Have a rock and roll on the blog. Bye for now. James.
Hi Ana Paula, what a surprise I had when I cliked on the student blogger link expecting to see Marvin's face and your's showed up instead. Nice surprise, I mean. And a little sad too to have lost Marvin in the middle of the way. But it's for his best. It's so nice to have your company here again. We had a wonderful time previously when you were the bbc blogger the first time and I'm sure we are in for some wonderful time together again. Some friends have already mentioned it, but I'd like to agree that you look very beautiful in the picture you posted. You look great with your hair shorter this way. You asked about tests. I once took the CAE test. Thousands of years ago. But it was a nice experience. It gave me the opportunity to study English on a regular basis again. I'd like to try another test sometime. But now I live in a very small city and we don't have preparation courses around. Anyway, I can still practice my English with you and Simon. Best wishes Ana Paula and once again, it's wonderful to have you back. ByeBye for now.
Hi, Ana Paula nice to read your blog one more time. We will have really nice, interesting literature until the end of the September. I am looking forward to see you again. :)All the best
Yes, I agree. To visit this site is a kind of addiction. From I discovered it two months ago I enter here as much as I can because sometimes I go a little short of time.
Hello Ana Paula. It is good to see you as the student blogger again. You have been the most regular blogger since I started reading the blog section on the BBC Learning English site. Up to now I've been learning English only for fun. I wanted to be able to read English books fluently. Now that I can don this pretty well, I want to go further and maybe it's time to start writing, listening and speaking as well. I've always thought that I was too old to go to school again for my learning process and taking exams, but I'm beginning to change my mind and perhaps in the near future I'd pluck up courage and and start studying to take the FCE. Have a good time blogging for all of us. See you soon.
Hi Ana Paula. Nice picture. You look very interesting and intelectual there. What place is that? Bye.
Hi Ana. Congrats on getting a great chance to become a Student blogger once again. I also took the FCE exam a year and half years ago. It was a hard time for me to get my English met the standard of the exam.. but my English improved a lot while preparing for the exam, I must say. The most important thing, I think, is to believe in yourself. As you might know, English skills don't improve after a few day's study. So never give up even though your studying isn't going well and do your upmost till the final day!! Goodluck & Looking forward to getting know more about you :)
Hello Ana Paula! Nice to meet you. A lovely blogger according to everybody on line!!!Bye
Hi Ana! Great to see you're blogging again :-) I'm looking forward to reading all your posts. When are you planning to do the exam? You'll be fine, I reckon, your English has improved noticeably since last time you blogged. In a while crocodile! xxx

Welcome back, Ana to our cosmopolitan blogland!Long time no chatting with you, just reading your comments! Like you, I´m a faithful blogger, although not that regular! It´s really nice to hear from you again! Your English is really great and sure you will pass the FCE with A! I took it some years ago! It HAS CHANGED ITS FORMAT NOW but it is still a really nice test. My tip for you is to read, read and read!Nowadays we have so many opportunities to be exposed to the language, something that some years ago it was so difficult! Watching cable tv also helps! Well, good luck in your studies and I´m eager to catch up with the latest!I liked the photo, you look different! I liked the detail of your hand, very feminine gesture, as someone mentioned here!I am also curious to know where and who is the photographer! And where are you ? Are you in a castle?
