What about you all?
Here we are again!!
I love your comments, thank you so much for that!!!! All this blog will be a beautiful memory for me, I will keep it like a treasure.
I would like to start with you all.
Thank you for your information Anita and for your timely comments. It's nice reading about you and it is a good chance to read again your blog....I'm getting old and I need to refresh my memory sometimes!
Christine, it is true. Here in New Zealand there are no snakes. In fact it is unbelievable seeing people in the forest without any shoe or sock, just with naked feet!! This is one of the strangest thing I have never seen.
I really wish you to come here, I have a spare room if you like...;-)
Hi QT, unfortunately not all the pictures I shown are mine. I did some research and I found most of them on the net. All the others about cities and places are mine, though.
Thank you Cris, you are always so nice. I just would like you to see some of this beautiful country. I think it is very interesting knowing about a place that is not so known. I work about 40 hours a day and so far I enjoy working here because I'm improving my English very fast.
Dear Paco, you nosed out me!!!! I already have some pictures about New Zealand and Italy and I meant to show them one of these days. Anyway, you are right. The two countries are so similar in shape!! Here are those pictures...

Thank you Maycon, I am sure you will discover a lot here, no worries!
I will post some picture of our trip in the South island soon, Fuji. It's a pity you didn't see it . You should come here again!! I don't know how long I will stay here but I hope to live this experience as long as I can. I don't do plans in a too long future because when I did it I had to change them... I will see what happens. I guess I could choose a warmer Country if I leave New Zealand, maybe closer to Italy too, so that my family would be happier.
Ernesto, I was joking! I forgive you by the way. Ahahaha!! In New Zealand there is an issue about the wind power development. In fact some people are not happy for the environment change. If you would like to know more about this topic you can read this pdf document: http://www.pce.govt.nz/reports/allreports/1_877274_29_1.pdf. Thank you for all your comments. Keep on writing!
Hi Bia, is it correct the spelling of your name? Sorry if it is not. My English needs to be improved a lot but I keep on studying and exercising it. I still make many mistakes but what I can suggest is that you don't have to be shy. Don't be worried if you are not sure about something, just try to tell or write it. People will understand you and if not, probably they will correct you and you will learn something more.
I try to keep updated this language listening cds, watching tv, reading a lot and talking all day. I often do exercises on the bbc website. I reckon this is the best site for learning English by yourself. I find absolutely useful listening to the article and to the sounds of words. I hope I have been useful to you...keep on writing, that's a brilliant exercise!
Thank you Vemuki for your words! I hope you will write again.
Marianna, how old are you? I am joking, it is a compliment what you wrote, thank you!
Thank you Bruno, photography is one of my passion but I have so much to learn!!
Joanna Marie, as you see your comment has been published and I am very happy you wrote. Cheers!
I did the same trip, Chilad, 3 years ago and I agree with you. I will post some pictures next time of the South Island.
Dear Ruth, you find most of the answers of your questions in my previous instalments. Maori are well integrated here and there is no problem if they want to marry white people. In fact it is difficult seeing real Maori, they are mixed now.
Hi Jorge, you can read the same document I gave to Ernesto to have more information about wind power in New Zealand.
I have just the time to have a quick coffee and go to work now!
Have a wonderful day and see you soon!!!
Ciao
Rosi

Hi Rosi! Your pictures are really amazing! I have no words to describe how absolutley fantastic your Heaven is :-). See ya soon, Ana Paula.
Definitely I'll spend some time In NZ next year, I was so indecisive about visiting NZ or UK but, you solved my problem. I hope I can have a cup of coffee with you! Thank you very much Maycon Ps.: It'd be good if you made your own blog. How about that?
Rosi, Coromandel Peninsula is so beautiful. I loved it and it seems it has kept its own charm. I often read you blog, but I don´t always get a change to reply. If I may do so, I will take this opportunity to wish everyone a good weekend. Rosalba, if for some reason you don´t hear from me again during July, let me say that it has a pleasure to read your stories from New Zealand.
Hi Rosi! The weather has been awful here recently. It has been raining for 2 and half weeks. We set a record for cold weather temperatures on Wednesday, 13-15°C. It is funny because the same day last year (23 June 2007) we set a record for heat - 40, 3°C. Over the past few days we have had severe thunder and lightening storms. Our back yard has become a big mud place, we cannot do there anything. One good thing- we do not have to water the grass. Rosi, you might have already heard about weather wisdom or sayings. They are based on observation of the weather, perhaps over many generations. In Slovakia we say if the swallows fly low, or if the ants swarm, or if the donkey brays it will rain. We also say if the sky is red it will be a windy weather. June 8 is Medard’s name day. Legend about Saint Medard says that when he was a child, Medard was once sheltered from the rain by a hovering eagle. He is the patron of good weather, against bad weather, for people who work the fields, etc. Legend has it that if it rains on his name day, the next 40 days will be wet; if the weather is good, the next 40 will be fine as well. We had a rainy day on 8th June, so it seems to me that Medard “has worked properly” this year. Could you tell me some sayings about weather you say in NZ or Italy? Have a nice weekend! Take care,
Hey Rosi, Your English is brilliant. But I wonder how can you work 40 hours a day if the day has only 24 hours. :-) I'm kidding, I understood you. See you, Cris
Dear Rosi, to read your comments is like to make a trip directly to the core of NZ. After to see the similarity of Italy and NZ I can understand. You are living in sibling area. (it's like Italy)
Hello Rosi. I have read every part of your blog. And I'm still going to do it. It's so interesting. Now I know much more about country which is on the other side of the world. Thank you and have a nice weekend.
Hi Rosi! I've just read some of your posts (I was searching for some english web sites to practise my English - as it is not very good) and I just want to tell you one thing. Your photos are amazing!!!! And you describe everything in a very interesting way, giving many details. I really like reading your posts:) What about Maycon's idea (about your own blog)?
Hi Rosi, You are lucky to be able to work in NZ! I would have stayed there if I had have the work permit. I'll definitely come back to NZ at least to taravel in the south island sometime! For the trip, can you tell me some good places or shops that you found on your trip to the south island and want to recommend? I like to eat good food,so maybe nice restaurants, too or what food is good in the cities,if you remember. Sorry to ask too many questions. By the way, Can you guess what I really liked when I lived in NZ and miss now. Actually I have many, but one of them is rainbows! I rarely see a rainbow in Japan but I saw it many times in NZ,and it's amazing! I think it's time to put down my mouse:-) Bye for now. Fuji
Yes you spelled my name right! I'm really grateful for your advice. I agree with you, bbc learning English has been a useful and wonderful tool for me to learn English. I enjoyed the series "Better speaking" and " Who on earth are we?!". Did you listen to them?. I think they are very informative for all learners to study them. All the best dear Rosi. I really love your blog. Bïa
