My Heaven
Hi Simon and readers!
Thank you for your suggestion, teacher, and also for your pictures! I find a great idea having my bicycle with an attached umbrella!! In that way you can use both your hands for driving and you are not worried to hit someone...ahahha!!.
You are completely right about the windy Wellington, that is the reason my husband didn't like the city so much.
People say the Cook strait , the one between the two islands, is the windiest in the world. I don't know if it is true or not but I can say sometimes it is really amazing. Unfortunately here houses haven't a good insulation yet and it is not rare finding "windy" ones. In our previous house you could feel the wind throughout your body also if all doors and windows were closed.
Anyway, today I'm going to show you another part of New Zealand, Coromandel Peninsula. I can't deny it is one of my favourite places and I would like spending there my holidays.
We have a couple of Italian friends living there, they decided to spend their retirement in a beautiful villa with a stunning view upon the Whitianga harbour. We've visited them a couple of times and these are some pictures of their place.

I think the view is just breath taking!!
When we were driving to Coromandel Peninsula we used to stop in every nook and cranny because of the terrific places. In fact we drove along the ocean as you can see below. I think the pictures don't need any further word so just enjoy them!

These Agapanthus are very common in New Zealand. I love their colour so I shot them, it reminds me holidays!!

This cow is outside a park and I think it is funny.
We visited a small beach in Whitianga and there was nobody there. It was like been in heaven!

When I saw this teeter-totter on the beach I couldn't resist to the temptation... I felt like a child!
Well, I hope to read soon your comments cause I really enjoy them!
Have a wonderful day!!
Ciao
Rosalba

Dear Rosi! Yes, it might be a heaven I agree only looking at you swinging on that teeter-totter! It is always sweet and happy having days we may feel like a child and I do enjoy it along with you being one generation older though. Thanks!!
Hi Rosi, the scenes are amazing, especially for an Ahwazi who has to spend long long hours indoors more than 6 months of the year in the plus 50s...enjoy your time and remember your friends, best. H.
Hi Rosi. You are absolutly right. The landscape in your pictures is really wonderful. So that part of New Zealand is very windy. I wonder then if there is a big development of wind energy. Is'n it? G. Day.
Wow Rosi! Spectacular pictures! You're a great photographer and the scenery helps you a lot. Just wonderful!!! See you, Cris

Hi Rosalda, back from a trip in the South West of the USA and a short once to Venice I am reading your blogs. It's true Coromandel peninsula is very, very great. I was there last year when I made a trip with my son in NZ. We were driving from Auckland to Christchurch. The passage from Wellington to the Southern Island is one of the most impressing passages, we have been told, and if the sun is shining. Have a nice time in NZ, best regards Chiladi
Hi, Rosi. I liked your style of describing Coromandel Peninsula. The pictures taken by you are fantastic. After watching these scenes, I have decided to visit New Zealand. Really, New Zealand seem like a heaven in your blog.
hi,Rosalba.i really enjoy reading your description about NZ.i am looking forward to visiting it one day.but i have a few questions about maori people. Are they still live in village with all the families get together? how about their education now? are they well educated? how about the status about the maori people in NZ? is it easy for them to find a good job?and will the white people discriminate maori people ?if they want to marry white girls will their parents agree? sorry,so many questions to trouble you.i will appriciate if you can answer my questions. thank you.
Hi,Rosalda.I liked your pictures and your explanation. I hope that one day i can to visit New Zealand.
Hi Rossi, You are making, nicest and wonderful each time your blog, The pictures are lovely and its description as well. The windy part of the island, maybe somebody is taking advantage with this free energy?, best wishes
Dear Rosi, Thank you for giving us information about capital city of New Zealand-Wellington. It is really interesting know that main As you informed Wellington is not only political centre but it is also centre for art and culture and tourist destination. The most interesting thing I found in your blog is government office in beehive shape. If possible, can you inform us what is the basic reason to construct the building in that shape. Thank you for sending photograph of your couple and your couple looks perfect. Coromandel Peninsula is very attractive and pictures you have posted are breathtaking. Pictures are able to arrange virtual tour of this Peninsula. As you said you were enjoying teeter-totter but in picture you are enjoying swing, isn’t it?
Dear Rosalba this is my first participation as a blogger and I'm really happy. I must say that your heaven is an extraordinary place. But as brazilian I have to say that here in my country also there are many extraordinary places that you shiuld know. Maybe you will find another heaven.
Thanks for all your contributions. This blog has now closed and can no longer accept new comments.
