a bonfire night!

Hi,
for the sake of regularity let's have a short story of what I did today.
In fact, I wouldn't have much to tell, except to relate some progress on my shed development (almost all the 'cobblestones' are now removed), if it wasn't for my sister, and the idea she came up with in the evening: let's have a bonfire!
I was sceptical at first, because the evening was chilly, but then I discovered some sausages in the fridge, remembered that I had a number of beer cans left over, and that the fire might be a good way to get rid of some old wooden bits I removed from the shed... and I joined in!
We gathered at the bottom end of our garden (it is a slope), where the grass never grows properly, and my father helped start the fire. Have a look:

What's the best thing about having a bonfire? Holiday aura, and the sausages everyone grills using long sticks! I had my share, of course

You'll be able to catch a glimpse of my sister this time

... and of Pirat, who was at first very excited that something was in the air, but then was very scared of the fire so I had to fiddle with him a bit

That's all for tonight, take care...

Hi Lukazs! Nice to see the bonfire pictures on the blog :-). Well, I awlays browse the bookstore shelves before choose a book. As a matter of fact, I love spending my time doing this. If I find something interesting, I buy it. On the other hand, I also like to read the books that our teachers bloggers recommend us. They always have good and interesting recommedations. Right now I´m reading 'A Spot Of Bother' by Mark Haddon. It´s a very gripping story which uses an English easy to be understood. Have a good night, Ana Paula.

Nice pictures Lukasz! Hope you have enjoyed the BBQ. The month is almost finished and....you didn't post a single photo of Poznan. I'm anxious to know how it looks. Bye for now, Cris

DEAR Lukazs, I have post very beautiful pictures, and finally you success to get your sister picture ( do you remember in your pervious blog you mentioned that she shy to get photo?) as we see in picture she is eating something,Is it passible we what did she eat? best luck

Just to say Hello to your sister Helena! And thanks for posting these fotos, we do the same around the fire as I tried to say to Paul from the Staff blog. Hmm and the pet Pirat, wonderful evening!

Hi, Lukasz! You are very lucky to live in a private house, close to nature! And have a garden, where you can have a bonfire. I live in a block of flats and my windows face other blocks of flats (not a very exiting sight). My dream is to live in a private house at the countryside, to have a car and to drive to the work to the city. Are you doing like this? Your place is very beautiful! And also I want to note that you have a very united family and this is really great. You should appreciate it =)

Hi! Lukasz... I think that's very nice pictures. So I feel who would like to make BBQ too but I can't. By the way! I give a big thanks for you to make BBQ for us, don't we? Well! I wish you would be having the special time. WITH THE BEST WISH..!

Hi Lukasz, it's very nice to know you. I've just gotten back to participating in the blog and I hope I can stay longer this time. But I haven't had a chance to read all your entries yet. I read the first one when you say a little about yourself and this last one. But I'll try to read the others too to get to know a little more about you and Poland. I loved tha idea of the bonfire. As I live in a kind of a ranch and as it's pretty cold here at this time of the year I'll see if I can persuade a couple of friends to follow this idea. It's very nice to talk to you. See you soon.

Dear Lukasz, You were able to kill two birds with one stone. You got rid of scrap timber as well as enjoyed BBQ at the same time. Not only made your sister happy by arranging bonfire but also provide us an opportunity to have a glance of your sister’s photograph. You are able to fulfil your commitment to post your shy sister’s photo to this blog. Your devoted works realised that you are able to renovate carport very nicely and sent a beautiful picture of it. The course served in that party was a real strange. As you described that sweets were served first then main course. In most of the situations, first of all snacks along with drinks are served, secondly main course and finally dessert are served. Certainly you explained new things to us and it will not be strange to us if we are served as you described.

Well Lukasz it seems that you have finished your period as a blogger here. I was waiting for another post but I see that this about the bonfire was the last. Good luck

Hi Łukasz! I've just read some pieces of your blog and I must say I like it:) The idea of bonfire is great! (I don't have as big garden as you have but summer holidays without bonfire are not holidays! and my friends always find a chance and place to have bonfire:) PS. You write well and I hope I will improve too! With best wishes:)

Thanks for all your contributions. This blog has now closed and can no longer accept new comments.
