Nice weekend!!!
Hi Anne and everyone,
Yesterday,my high school held a school-year ending ceremony for the grade 12 and I went to my hometown to take part in it.I left it in 2006.
2years to go,now I'm a student but I don't forget all memories about my class,my school.
There were 25 pupils in my class,17boys and 8 girls ^_^.We were solidary and friendly. My teacher was a enthusiastic person. She always helped us and encouraged us to study well. Moreover, she was a funny teacher. We all love her :-)
Here is my class, the Twelve Informatic (2003-2006)

I will give some information about education in Vietnam. There are 4 levels of studying: Elementary School,Secondary School,High School and University
At Elementary School, you wil study in 5years,from grade 1 to grade 5.
At Secondary School, you wil study in 4years,from grade 6 to grade 9.
At High School, you wil study in 3years,from grade 10 to grade 12
and at university, you will learn in 4 or 5 years,it depends on each one.
Anne,
about quantifiers, thanks for giving me a quick quiz.I learnt it at high school but I don't remember it clearly.I remember that :
-- FEW and A FEW use with Countable Nouns. FEW uses with Negative meaning and A FEW with Positive one.
-- LITTLE and A LITTLE use with Uncountable Nouns. LITTLE uses with Negative meaning and A LITTLE with Positive one.
-- MANY uses with Countable Nouns,MUCH uses with Uncountable Nouns
-- LOTS OF and A LOT OF uses with both of them
Are they right???
LOT OF // MANY // FEW // MANY // A FEW
1. There are A FEW cars or motorbikes in my home town.
2. There are not MANY cars or motorbikes in my home town.
3. There are only FEW cars and motorbikes in my home town.
4. There are a LOT OF rice fields in my country.
5. There are MANY rice fields in my country.
I like the picture of the countryside you lived,it's very nice ^_^
I will have the 3rd final exam tomorrow.Good luck to me !
Bye and have a nice weekend, everyone
With love,
Green Sring ^_^ xxx

Xuan, nice to hear you have enjoyed your school years, the friendships you make while young, may last for a long time. I liked the picture you posted for us to see. If I don’t talk to you again (I have rather lot to do at the moment) this month, I wish you all the best now.
Hi, it is nice to hear that your weekend went on nicely. There is no other joy to beat the meeting of old school and college friends in a ceremony.Green Sring has given a few statementa about the usage of few and a few etc and requested you to give your valuable comment. Can you please help me to write the usage with countable and uncountable nouns. regards, altaf
Hi Xuan! So, you went and took a part on the ending ceremony at your high school on Saturday. The very day I was invited to a reunion from my basic school, which means classes from 1 to 9 (from six to fifteen years) here. Unfortunately, the invitation came only on last Thuesday and I had to go for my lesson at the painting course on Saturday. We worked on a portrait drawing, there were two older men for our models. Teacher did no correction on my work and it seemed the resemblance was fine, too, and I finnished as the first the work. But, then, I was so tired from focusing on the work and standing some hours on my feet that I gave up on going to the reunion. To your today´s exam I wish you good luck!
Xuan, I wasn´t true, there was one woman on the course who made portraits of both models she was finising the work as the first and went away earlier. Bye!
Dear Xuan The picture of your class is very cute. I left high school at the same time with you in 2006. Therefore, I understand your feeling. I can't also forget my memory about class, teacher, friends... hope that all of these memories will always be together with us in the path of life... bye and have a nice week!
Hi Xuan!!! this is the first time i visit BBC learning english so i'm a little bit confused =) i just want to say hello to you, and since u are vietnamese i would like to tell you that i have a vietnamese friend here named Trinh, she is one of my best friends here =) so you are studying in university is it? correct me if i'm wrong =) how's uni life? coz i'll start uni in feb next year and i'm so worried about it.. c u!!
Hi Xuan, in your picture, one of your classmates makes me remember a friend I had at school from Indonesia. We were very good friends and I used to call her Luspita because her name was very hard for me and the rest of the class to pronunciate. The time of all levels of studying are always unforgetable, especially the universite that is more dynamic and demanding. Good luck on your test. Bye
Hi Xuan! I'm really interested in your photo 'cause it makes me recall all memories about my class 12c2 at Le Quy Don High school.I've had an unforgetable school-year ending ceremony with my cute friends and my devoted teachers. So your photo makes me remember them a lot.Though i've not known u well,I think that u're the person i can talk to.
Thanks for all your contributions. This blog has now closed and can no longer accept new comments.
