a lovely weekend xxx
Hi Anne and everyone,
I had a lovely weekend with my cousin. We went to the countryside to visit our grandparents and we took many photos .
In my opinion,my countryside is very nice. It's a quiet and peaceful place.Whenever I feel stressed,I often come back it.There is a little car, motorbike in my hometown so the air is very pure,it's very good for your health :-)
As you know,Vietnam is also an agricultural country so there are many rice fields,my countryside is,too. The rice fields are very large, they are all green and I like it very much. You can see it:

I know that in the West, there is more wheatfields than ricefields is.They all yellow,is it right? and I'm sure that everyone will like the green of ricefields when you see it.
My grandparents have been living here for 80 years. It's really a long time, now, both of them are 80years old.Although thay are old but they are very well. They were farmers and now they retire. They often walk together along the road beside the ricefields to see it and to breath the pure air.
I'm a student and I don't live with them.I live in Hanoi with my parents and sometimes we visit them for 1 or 2days at the weekend.whenever I visit them,I often cook some dishes for them. It's only simple dishes but they said they like it and they feel very happy. It make me happy, too :-).
I love my grandparents,I love my countryside ^_^ xxx
and there are 2 photos I want to share with all of you:

I and my cousin

Byeeeeeeeeeeee and see you in my next post
Best wishes

Hi Xuan, How are you? I was fond of your green fields. I didn't know that rice fields were green and you were right about the wheat fields. Rice fields look so pure and wonderful. I can understand why your grandparents love to walk along the road beside it. Indeed your countryside is outstanding. You may get on very well with your cousin. Both of you look pretty and happy. Are you the same age? Well, I wish you luck on your next exam. I'll be crossing my fingers. By for now. xxx Cris
Hi Xuan! What a wonderful place! Could you please tell us what you usually cook for your grandparents when you visit them? Best wishes, Ana Paula.
Hi Xuan. It seems you had a great time with your cousin. The ricefield in your grandparents place looks nice, and it's probably a good business to, considering the high price that rice has get lately. Is this a concern for people in Vietnam? Best wishes.
I have been growwing up in the countryside too. I love my village ! Good luck to you for your exam.
Hi Bichxuan! It's wonderful! Your ricefields are very beautuful. I never saw rice growing. Thank you!!!
Hi,Xuan I love rice field from summer to Autumn because rice fieds are full of fresh green rice plants in Summer and are full of beautiful yellow rice plants which they look like a endless yellow sea in Autumn in Korea. When I was little my parents had a small field and they used to plant rice in Spring. I and my six siblings helped them out and then after heard work we loved eating snacks on the field.that was absolutely scrumptious! Thank you for your blog and gook luck with your last exam!xx
Hi Xuan What a fantastic weekend. I live in Iran & in the north of my country we have Caspian sea & the weather is mostly rainy & there are a lot of rice fields. You are so kind with your grandparents. I'm sure they love you a lot. I'm waiting for your new blog.
Hello Bichxuan. Thank you for sharing your beautiful photos of ricefields. I love a countryside too. Good luck to your exams!
Hi, Xuan. Nice to meet you. Very nice picture. We love our countryside more than, dont't we?
hi you know.I hate exams .unfortunately we have exams too. In my country, we have rice fields and wheat fields. my country is including many climates. we have deserts ,jungles, sea side, mountain, etc. thats my country is called 4-season country. I'm from the desert . rice fields are good but desert is more better. you can't find the peace of desert in any other place. so long!!!
Hi Xuan, Í'm glad you had a nice weekend. Here in Uruguay there are also rice plantations, and it is exported, but I was never near to one of those fields. I think that they are different from the one of your photo. Good luck with the exam.
Xuan, such an elevating entry you had today. The green rice fields looked so splendid. I was, for one, so surprised how enormous the fields were, growing rice must be a good business, as the price of it has gone up. Good luck with your studies and best wishes to you and your cousin.
Dear Xuan! It's the first time I'm writing a comment.I suppose I'm the oldest person who is giving a comment. I'm retired and now I've got enough time to do things I really like. One of them is learning English. I'm from Eastern Germany and I didn't learn English at school. I learnt Russian, Polish and Latin. After the border was opened my husband and I could travel all over the world. We like travelling to places where poeple don't speak or understand German and therefore I started learning English at an evening school ones a week. It is not so easy as an elderly person but I have a lot of fun. Why I'm writing to you is how you are speaking about your grandparents. It shows so much love and respect. I think your grandparent's life was hard but is seems they are happy and healthy. It shows that people don't need modern equipment and things like this to be satisfied. I was very movend. All the best Felicitas
Dear Xuan, Realy the photos are wonderful !!! The green color is sensational in photo. The landscape shows how is quiet place where live your granparents. Good luck !!! Bye Danuza
