A few quick replies and a notice for you

I have added some new links regarding subject matters you have wished for. About the faith issues: There has been a complete freedom of religion in Finland since 1923. There are two national churches in Finland, the Lutheran and the Orthodox churches.

The Evangelical Lutheran Church has the country’s largest denomination; nearly ninety percent of the population are baptised Lutheran. There are also Catholic, Jewish and Islamic congregations as well as numerous smaller religious communities.

Mohammad, I am sorry I forgot to say welcome to Finland in January. I will be coming to your part of the world in December when I go to Egypt. Anastasia I know roughly your whereabouts, although Russia is such a vast continent.

I will talk to you soon again. Tomorrow I will spend some time with Katri and this evening I will go out with my husband. I am privileged person, I thank my faith and lucky stars.

Have a wonderful weekend. Bless you!

yes Leila, I think that you are a lucky woman, First of all because you have a husband who wants you well!!!!! Have a good weekend. Mariangela

Hello Leila! Thanks for the links. They are very interesting. I hope you have a wonderful evening. Enjoy your weekend. Ana Paula.

Hello, Leila. You have a lovely famiy. I hope, you will happen and have a good weekend. One day, perhaps i will take some time to go holiday.

Dear Leila, It is glad to know religious background of Finland. Finish people have been enjoying secular state since 1923 but Nepal is declared secular state two years ago. It was Hindu country before that declaration and still there are so many religious spots based on Hindu religious. If you study rites and ritual of Nepal, you will find most of them are based on religious background. Still there is confusion in political leaders still confused how to participate in such religious functions and show their impartiality in the religious functions. I like to suggest you that Russia is not a continent, it is a big country. Have a nice weekend!

Hallo Leila, I have some questions: can you tell something about the finnish schoolsystem? Our schoolsystem is critized at the moment and I have read in the newspaper, that the schoolsystem in Finnland must be a very good one. In Germany children visit for 4 years the elementary school, than the childrens are separated and visit, dependent from their results at school, different schoolforms. I'm also intereted in your way of celebrating the advent season and Chrismas. Have you special traditions, meals or rituals in this time ? I'm very curious, I know.Have a good time and a nice evening with your husband. I'm looking forward for your next blog, so long

Dear Leila, First of all , thank you for the links in students suggestions about your country and religion.I was stunned by the winter swimming picture for a second. It is realy amzing. As you had written, you finns are very bold and have good stamina. If I swim in the freezing cold water I will die on the spot by heart. But I heard on television people swim in the freezing cold water on New year's day in finland, and also I heard that healthwise it is good but not for long time swimming. Have a great time with your daughter Katri.Have a great weekend. With your permision let me say something to Naheed, Hi! Naheed, how are you? My best wishes for you to become a succesful account. If you don't mind,I would like to know what subject do you tutor? Have a great week to you too.

Hey Leila, thanks for your blessing. Glad to know there is freedom of religion in Finland like here. To be honest I'm not satisfied with any religion. There's always something I don't like in each one. I'm afraid I have to create my own church. The name would be: "God save us". Is there anybody here who wants to join? :-D

Hello Liela, You have been provinding us with really informative links, Thank you for that! Have a great weekend and say my hello to your Katri. Naheed

You are very luck girl.I hope you will enjoy your holiday. :)
