Fireworks, I finally made it:)

At last I could get the pictures on. Let me give you some descriptions... Can you see the riverbank which was full of people? Usually fireworks festivals are very crowded like this! However fireworks is on the sky so it does not really matter and people have to try not getting annoyed with the crowded people. haha, I am joking! Please enjoy the photos and fireworks!
I tied up this belt by myself. You can get the manmade one, but I believe this is nicer:) My sister advised me that I should have wore the pink or red belt. Oh yes, that is true - I think red one would be nicer than yellow one! haha-)
Dear Amy,
Thanks for the kind comment. However I have one quesition - Do you live with your husband and lovely child in Delhi? or Do they live in UK and you visit them when you take leave? Were you already back in Delhi now? Please take care of yourself and have a safe trip back in India.
Now it is almost 6am on Friday. Can you imagine what I did last night? --Yes, I was blogging and thinking of (*1) what to write. I was a bit tired and very sleepy so I lay(*2) down and slept in! It took time to understant what was happened to me when I woke up!!! Luckily my alarm of mobile phone rung and I made it to wake up as usual.
Amy, I am sorry that I didn't work for homework... I wrote why I couldn't do in the blog above. I will do that tonight. Sweet dreams for the people at night & Have a nice day for the people in the morning:)
Asterisk,
1: Would anyone please let me know of the difference between 'think' and 'think of'? I thought 'think of' meant 'think deeper'. Not really sure though..
2: Is 'lay' correct in this situation? It is VERY popular again in Japanese school to answer the difference between 'lie', 'lay' and 'lain'.
I appreciate everyone's support!
Best regards,
Yumi x
Alessandro> Hello. Thanks for kind comment everytime. I think, believe and hope the dinner on Wed was successful. However If I have behaved nicer, it would have been nicer as usual! well, it is difficiult to explain but I think everyone enjoyed it. I sometimes have more personal chat about work with my colleagues:) Anyway, enjoy the holiday!
Elnesto> Thanks for the comment everytime and telling me about your country. It is interesting. Usually the person who are new were treated. We paid for her and it goes like this : the head paid most, the vice head paid second most, and people followed. It is interesting that women always pay least. Women are treated nicely in those occasions.

Hi Yumi! The photos are great. You must have a good time last Saturday. By the way, the yellow belt is beautiful :-). Have a good Friday, Ana Paula.
Hi Yumiko, Nice pictures! You finally managed to upload them. It’s good to read something with pictures, more visualised. But I still can’t tell the difference between Yukata and Kimono, maybe the pictures are too small. Yesterday, someone from work asked me whether I was Japanese. I said no to him. I am Chinese and I am currently in Australia. I guess Asian girls look alike to western people. I got someone saying “Konnichiha” to me while I was travelling in Gold Coast. I read all your blogs this morning. Your English is better than all the Japanese that I have met so far. I love the part you talked about Japanese food. I will buy the plum wine for dinner tonight. I am going to a friend’s place for dinner and we will go out to watch a movie afterwards. I told her that she could make the movie choice and I pick up the wine. Have a nice weekend. Hualan :)
Hi,Yumi.I realise we have the same question to ask Amy after i read your blog. You look nice in Kimono!
Hi Yumi, Do “yummy” and “Yumi” pronounce the same? Speaking of Japanese Fireworks Festival, I have watched many Japanese TV series in Taiwan, there are always the plots of fireworks there, many love stories happened at the fireworks scene. And Japanese TV series (the idol series show, also) are very popular in Taiwan. In another words, people in Taiwan know Japanese Fireworks Festival by the Japanese TV series. And it is very nice to see your pictures. By the way, as a blogger, it’s easy to blog initially, lots of stuff is there, then, day after day, the suitable topics are harder to find, need to spent more time to deal with it. I am appreciated your lots of blogs till now, afterward(s), good luck and enjoy it. Best Regards and take care.
Hi Yumi, what nice pictures!.. you look very nice. I noticed that you had said in below sentence like this; "My sister advised me that I should have wore the pink or red belt." in my opinion, you should use past participle as you see "wear wore worn" i.e. you should have written like this, My sister advised me that I should have worn the pink or red belt." if I'm wrong please let me know. as for "think' and 'think of" as far as I am concerned; if think takes any prepositions like this; of, about, it means 'think deeper' maybe it means a little bit the same as verb consider. if think doesn't take any prepositions; it may mean akin to beleive, suppose. you say to us about your culture "It is interesting that women always pay least. Women are treated nicely in those occasions." I am really wondering women are being paid less than men in your country , aren't they? I appreciate your answer. have a good day sevinç
Hello Yumi! I haven't got many time as you, so I couldn't write in your last entries, but I have read all of them. I only want to say that your blog is fantastic. Thanks for the photos. Bye for now!^__-
Hi Yumiko, I would like to say nice to meet you .For ages I couldn't have enough time to say Hi with you and share hilarious stories with my friends in BBC site. I admit I miss something in here for 1 month. Anyway I love all of pictures. Are you taking a firework photograph by yourself ? It is alright. The last one I love to read your blogs and looking forward to exchanging new experience once more. See you next time.
Hi Yumiko! Greetings from Singapore! After seeing the photographs you have uploaded, I am very tempted to drop by Japan! It is good to know you are having fun learning English through this program! Do write more and we will learn more about your views and the beautiful hometown you are staying. Cheers! Hope to see you in Singapore soon! Have great fun!
I am very new in participation of this blog. How nice to see your pictures. I just want to know that is it social or religious? And is it for all ages like you and the one in the photo, an old man. I am longing for your answer.
Hello Yumi, Nice to meet you. I have the first time to see your blog. The pictures are very nice. I'm very like the Japanese pancakes which taste delicious. When I've time I'll go to Japan.
Thanks for all your contributions. This blog has now closed and can no longer accept new comments.
