Hello, Bonjour, Hola, Konnichiha, Nihao, Hallo, Annyonhaseyo!!!:)

Hello everyone,

It is my great pleasure that I am now blogging for all of you. Mr. Paul and Ms. Caroline, thank you so much for choosing me. I will also appreciate all of the readers who would support me!

Let me introduce myself. I am Yumiko Iwamoto from Japan. Please call me Yumi. I am 25 years old, working for Japanese company, doing accounting, having 2 younger sisters and living with my parents and sisters. I know it sounds a bit odd for some people, but I could say it is usual to live with parents in some part of Asia. (Well, I will talk about it some other time.)
I am now blogging from my room, relaxing after I finished working and got home when I was suffereing crammed train! It is now 11 pm in Japan.

Before talking about myself more, I would like to talk about what I did today! I woke up about 5:30, went to the office, worked till 18:30pm. I was feeling pretty good because I still had time to go shopping. Now it is summer sales season here, and it's going to be 70% off in some shops. That's why I am a shopping queen these days-;) But I ended up not buying anything, haha. I tried some clothes on but did not really like them. sigh... well, I hope to find nice one next time.

I would like to finish my first blog with this word: 'There is always one more chance to learn English.' This is the word from James of the blogger in May, and I was really impressed to this word.
I hope I can learn English from kind teachers and readers, please enjoy my blog:)
Talk to you tommorrow and sweet dreams.

Best regards,
Yumi x

Manoj: Thank you for your kind message. Could you please call me Yumi? Most friends call me Yumi and Yu makes me feel like something is lacked with my name; I have been to India once and will talk about it someday! Please check this out! - Regards, Yumi

Hi Yumi. Really nice to meet you in the blog. I expect to learn a lot about your lifestyle and the japanese culture, which I consider very interesting. Which part of Japan dou you live in? I say good bye waiting for your next entries. Read you soon.

Hello and welcome Yumi! Good luck with your blog, and I´m looking forward to hearing from you soon. Hmm... Are you a kind of shopaholic Yumi? :-) Best wishes, Ana Paula.

Yumi, konnichiwa. Hi, Yumi :) Nice to meet you in the blog. I'm now living in Tokyo. Where are you living now, Yumi? Good luck with you blog and I'm looking forward to hearing more about you.

Hello, Yumi! I would say that you had a long and challenging day today with that early rising and all that passion for shopping during summer sales. Do you wake up so early and work so late in the evening every weekday? If that is so, I admire your stamina and determination to blog after being elbowed in a crammed train. I am looking forward to reading about the customs of your country.

Hi, Yumi-san, I'm so glad to find a Japanese here. To keep posting for a month may be sometimes tough. But it seems your life is so active you'll have no problem finding topics. Please enjoy yourself, and have a great blogging life!

Hello Yumi it's very nice to read your blog. Altough I do not have to much time I'll try to read your blog every day :-). Bye for know

Hello Yumi it's a pleasure read your blog. It doesn't sound odd for me if you live with your parents. Here some people leave home early to study in other places but there is who prefer living with parents, brothers, sisters, grandmother, grandfather, cats, dogs, birds...and this is not a problem here not to follow straitly the western captalism rules. I have a friend who coincidently is an accountant and has 2 sisters like you and lives with her parents. It varies depending on each particular situation. Maybe you could write one day about the pros and cons about this. Have a nice month here. Bye

Oh,I'm very sorry that I have not introduced myself to you. I'm a Chinese girl,as young as you.And I'm a teacher in a middle school. That is,I'm having my summer holiday.I am nearly free everyday,so I must use my spare time to improve my English.May I share your experience? OK,now it's time to have my lunch.Best wishes!

Hi Yumi, Nice name. Hope we will have wonderful learning experience with you this month. 70% discount of what. Did you buy anything on that rate? Will that material last long. I bought one branded shirt on sale few years back. They offered if I had taken one shirt another one will be free on condition that we should not open the pack. I felt satisfy the material inside the pack when I touched it. What a pity was I could use both the shirts a bit shorter period. Now I totally stopped purchasing anything on sale. Tell me your experience of using the products which you bought on discount rate.

Hello Yumi! Do you always wake up so early? If yes- you are a hero! When I go to work I get up at half past 6,it's really awful. I drink coffee all day long but it doesn't help me,all the same I want to sleep =) My dream is to go to Japan, but now I can't do this. Please, could you tell more about your country. In Russia we have problems with accommodation, it's too expensive to buy, not every person can afford his own flat. And very often young couples have to live with their parents, brothers, sisters and so on. Often there is no enough space for everybody, because many people don't have large flats. I've heard you've got tiny flats too, is that so? Good luck with your blog, I hope you'll answer my qoestion, if you have any time. Thank you!
