Happy birthday to me ^_^
Hi Jo and friends there,
I just came back from my birthday party with some friends in the university. Actually it was not a party. My birthday was just the reason for us to gather. You know, since we graduated from university, each one has had their own job and we don't have chance to meet as often as when we were studying.
Tonight we had dinner together, then went to a coffee shop, talk and talk about how we have been recently, and asked if anyone was going to get married ^_^ (I'm so afraid of thisssss). The last part of the party ended up with our karaoke show ^_^. Do you often go to karaoke bar in your country? In Vietnam, friends often gather and sing together... That's great! It helps us to refresh ourselves.
Normally in Vietnam, we just give others some flowers and small gifts in their birthday with wonderful wishes to them. Birthday cakes with candles become more and more popular in Vietnam. And I think this culture is brought from Western countries. More and more cake shops are opened in Vietnam with very good business... And I also love eating cakes very much. :) For young people, birthday is a chance for us to meet each other. The older we are, the more we forget about our birthday. Many business men (women) even forget their birthday because they are too busy with their business, solving some stuff...
Well, I am now older... And I'm afraid of getting old :). I'd love to be young all the time... Anyway, I am just 23 years old, young enough to make all my dreams come true, rite?
I'll spend this weekend writing an entry introducing more about Vietnam for you, I promise. And now, it's time for me to sleep.

Many happy returns, Ha. Nice to e-see you on your birthday! Do you know where Morocco is? In my country, we don't have any proper traditions related to the celebration of the birthday. We recently tend to imitate Europeans by preparing a cake and candles for the occasion. For most people , it doesn't matter if they don't have any cake.They often forget even the day of their birth. Personally I've never thought about it. It simply implies more expenses. Ha, you promissed to tell us something about your country. I'd like to know more about vietnamese history, culture, traditions, attractions, etc...Good luck in your search for Mr Right. I'm also waiting for Miss Right! So both of us need to be in luck to find our second halves!
Happy birthday, Ha. What a birthday party you had. I used to have such party very frequently when I was young. You are a beautiful intelligent young girl, your dream will come true one day. I think Karaoke is more popular in Asia than in other continents. I don't see many Karaoke Bar in here. Before adopting the Western cake what kind of food do Vietnamese use for birthday celebration?

Hi Ha, I would like to say Happy birthday to you. I gave a piece of big cake to you if I would drop in your house in Vietnam. Really , I love to say happy birthday to my friends when the day will come like you. How many your old friends to join with your party? And as my party end up I usually go on with sing a song at karaoke like you. I rather not good singer as my friend told. But I love it. It make me relex and cheerful. Many happy returns of the day! Blowing candles and having cakes as a way of celebrating a birthday party is a custom that appears frecuently in western movies and TV series so no wonder it is becoming more and more popular with the rest of the world. Good luck and take care.
Happy birthday!Here's my best wishes(it seems a little late though:).I'm in senior high in China,and i still remember my birthday this year in June.We celebrated in our dorm eating birthday cakes and laughing,having fun.Such a sweet memory of mine. It's popular to go karaoke here,but after all,having fun is enough for us,right?
