Homework :(
Hi all,
It has been a great weekend... I visited some of my cousins and spent one day... sleeping as well. But this morning, when I woke up, I felt so sad because I had to go to work... And after a hard day of working, I visited the website and ... HOMEWORK is waiting there... Jo, I am sorry if I can't do it well because I am so tired and sleepy now....
Oops, I am drinking a cup of tea, reading your comments and... thinking of how to do the homework ^_^... I am going to do it right now...
It's great to read about traffic in UK and traffic in Vietnam is very special... Many foreigners are impressed by traffic in Vietnam, especially in big cities like Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. Many of us go to work by motorbikes. In big cities, each family must have at least 2 or 3 motorbikes.^_^ So when you come to Vietnam, you can see in rush hours, all the streets are full of motorbikes...

It's Hanoi (Photo collected from Internet)

Ho Chi Minh City (Photo collected from Internet)
Some years later, buses are becoming more and more popular, but I myself rarely go by bus as I find it very inconvenient. The roads in Hanoi are very small, it's better if you have a motorbike, and you can go everywhere you like ^_^. Recently, the number of personal cars in big cities in Vietnam are also increasing. But many people still go to work by motorbike and use their cars at weekends as motorbike is more convenient here.
Well, just some words about the traffic in Vietnam. Now... it's time for homework!
Hi, Panther... You are really a handsome chap ^_^ I've spent some minutes looking at you... But you give me such a tough homework... Anyway, I'll try to finish it :P
Let the cat out of the bag: Are you going to tell us something secret about Jo? ^_^ Well, come on :P
Has the cat got the tongue?: To tell the truth about somebody... Tell Panther the truth whether he is handsome or not?
I'm the cat's whiskers: I'm the most handsome cat in the world????
The cat who got the cream: The very pleasant and happy Panther, rite?
Pussyfooting it all around: To go around, just watching others without any action :-P
Oops, it's done. I don't know whether my understanding is correct or not. Pls help me to check it. Thank you very much.
Now it's time for me to go to bed. Good nite and sweet dreams to all of you!
Love,
Ha

It's terrible when you are so tired, and you find that the homework is waiting for you in your desk!! About the traffic, here in Argentina, in the centre of the city of Buenos Aires, that is the place where I live, you can see, that there are always protests, or other problems that make that going to work, or to visit a place be like a chaos. If you turn on the TV you probably will see dead people because traffic jams, it's really sad, because this is the country where I live in... thanks for this space to express what I feel! sorry if I made some mistakes, but I'm just a student of English, who want to learn every day , a little more. Kisses for all the people who reads blogs from BBC.
Hello Ha! It´s really interesting to know how people get to work in Vietnam. In Brazil the motorcicle are becoming very popular too. However, they don´t contribute to decrease the environmental pollution, which creates a debate series about what can be done to reduce the environmental pollutuion. This kind of question is always rised, especially in a day like today. We are in the winter in Brazil, and temperature is around 25°C, and the air humidity is very dry. Therefore the pollution rates in days like this reaches high levels. Ha, are people in Vietnam concerned about environmental pollution? By now is 15:34 and I´m at home. Today is a holiday in Sao Paolo state where I live. So, I´m enjoying the afternoon( I love holidays!). Well, I think you are already sleeping. Have a good rest and I see you soon, Ana Paula.
Hello, Ha. You've taken three days off(from the blog) and have had a great weekend. Lucky! According to your blogs, however, it seems that you've got a hectic schedule at work. How much time do you spend daily at work? Are you a morning person? What's your rank in the hierarchy in your bank? Do you commute every day to your work? How far it is from home?
Hi Ha, it is very interesting to read about traffic in Vietnam! here in Saudi Arabia, the most popular mean of transportation is CAR.But, unfortunately, this causes terrible accidents here. Look at this dangrouse information: "12 deaths daily in traffic accidents in Saudi Arabia!!! saudi economic loss from traffic accidents is estimated at about 21 billion riyals annually=5,6 billion$" My Grandparents passed away together 12 years ago because of a car accident!!!!
Hi Ha, it was very interesting to see, how your streets are filled with bikes. I also drive a motor bike, mainly for pleasure, work journeys I do by car. I wonder if you are recommended to wear a helmet?
Hi Ha, you're such a good student who is willing to finish your stuff when you are tired.(I'd certainly go for a sleep first) And thanks for your post. It lets me, as a guy far away in HK, to know how your country's like. In my city, traffic is often terrible because it's a metropolitan. Every time when I waiting to cross the road, the hot air mixed with smoke blows to my face. It's quite awlful but I've got used to this. Definitely, in Hong Kong, car accidents often happens, but thankfully, accidents seldom kill people. Like Agostina, I would like to say sorry for my mistakes in this post, please don't hesitate to point them out. I hope all our English will improve everyday^^. Hope all read blogs from BBC to have a nice day.
Dear all, we have just launched the competition to find our August blogger. If you want to win then go to our blog competition page. Good luck Paul
Hi to everybody!! Ha, what you tell us is extremely interesting for me. I tell you what - i would love to go to Vietnam now! in fact, i love traveling and it's so funny when people aske me where i am from - My country is not well-known and when people hear Tajikistan they get confused sometimes - Tapipistan??!!?? is it in Africa or what? Actually, we have no traffic jams evethough i live in the capital of our country - the city population is arround 1 million and city itself is not really big so i can get to my workplace and university in ten minutes. Anyway, i am planning to get one bike soon. have fun!
Hi,Ha...Nice blog first of all. I'm also very impressed by the traffic in Vietnam. And just wondering how you cross the road? Seeing so many motorbikes on the road reminds me of air polltion. Are the city dwellers advised to wear gas masks when they venture on the road? Compared with Vietnam, we have lesser motorbikes on road. The main transport for us is public transport (bus and train). To us these are two cheapest and most convenient alternatives as we need to pay lots more if we go out by own transport. However, we still have traffic jam in town area.
Dear Ha, Even here in Naples people go to work espacially by motorbikes, but to tell the truth I don't like them very much. In my opinion they're quite dangerous. One of my brothers had a serious accident while he was on his motorbike about five years ago. He quite lost his leg (he has his leg now, but it has got some problems). Please, pay attention while driving your motorbike! Bye!
Hi, Ha. So amazing. I feel like getting back my home town and looking at the busy road outside my house when I see your two photos. The roads in Vietnam is so resemble that of my home town in upper Myanmar. One more thing that makes to look alike is that most people won't wear the hamlet. Thanks for your photos. By the way, I like your Vietnamese dry fruit. It's so popular here and so delicious. All the best.
hello, today,i chance to be know this weside. i feel very happy. although, my english is now not good, but i hope that the webside will help me to improve my ability. nice to meet yous!
Hi Ha, Which motorbike do you use? Which is more popular in your country? Also In India, the number of people use two wheeler is becoming more and more. The people who used to go by bicycle changed in to bike. For example the milk vendor used bicycle to distribute the milk in the houses. Now they are using some kind of bikes for using milk pockets. Is it modernizing? Do you think it is eco friendly? In cities, four wheel users are increasing. As Jo pointed out in the previous blog, with out improving the infrastructure heavy number of vehicles occupied the roads in all cities now days. People should learn to be patient while driving. Too much vehicles on the road surely disturb the mind of the driver and passenger. your roads look good.
How have you been ? Ha. I feel a bit grumpy at this day. At a result of the feeling, I went to the bed late while I can't cope with a large number of assignments . At the same time, I have to read a load of journals in order to prepare answer, slide show, script for seminar day in the recent month how interesting it is. Well, I would like to present in English but I am not sure how to organize the time, outline, speaking.Would it be alright,if you give some tips in presentation? Anyway I love Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. Nonetheless, the traffic congestion , crowed, smoke turn me into the bad mental and healty if I live in there. I suppose we should to take a bus because it save money and energy much more than taking mortorcycle on roads.Straightforwardly,I normalize using a motorcycle for going whereever. I would to shift to use a bicycle instead of motorcycle . Yet the long distance does not fair for me to drive somewhere. It is too far from my dormitory. Right now I have to do the rest of assignment. Bye for now.
