Hi everybody!^_^

Dear all,

It's really a great pleasure for me to be one of the student bloggers of BBC Learning English site. Actually, I just knew BBC Learning English a short time ago when I visited my teacher's blog (I will tell you more about him later) but I was deeply impressed by your wonderful writings here. I thought it would be a great chance for me to improve my English, so I decided to join the Blog competition... And great news came... Now I'M HERE with youuuuuu!

Firstly, let me introduce something about myself... A young and "lovely" girl from Vietnam - a nice country with "S" Shape in Asia. My name is Duong Thanh Ha, Duong is my family name, and Ha is my first name. In Vietnam, we usually call others by using their first name, but our first name is put in the last ^^ So please call me Ha... Here is a picture of me when I defended my Bachelor's thesis last year.

I graduated from Foreign Trade University in Vietnam in 2006 and I am now working for ANZ Banking Group Ltd. (Vietnam). I love my job here but I still want to improve myself more so that I can go abroad to pursue my Master in the near future. I can speak 3 languages, Vietnamese (of course), English and Chinese. I have learnt English when I was a very small child (about 7 years old) till now and I spent 5 years in the university to study Chinese as well. I love learning foreign languages as they help me to understand more about the countries, people and their cultures.

Oaaaa... I have so many things to tell so I don't know where to start, what to blog first... It would be so great if all of you support me in the next 30 days of the month by reading and posting comments on my blogs. Hope that July will be a great month for me to improve my English by sharing with friends in BBC Learning English about me myself, my life, my work, my feelings, my friends, my family, my colleagues, my organization, my country...

It's enough for my first entry ^^. Next entry will be about my lovely teacher who brings me to BBC Learning English site... C u tomorrow!!!

Regards,
Ha

Hi Ha. Nice to meet you in the blog. First of all, let my say you look really charming in your photo, but I have a question. Whath are those three glass tubes on the table, in front of you? Are they related in someway with yous thesis? I expect to learn a lot about you and the life in Vietnan along this month. Thank you and good bye,

Hi Ha :-) I'm happy to see that a July blogger is a Vietnamese girl. When I was a student I fell in love with a Vietnamese student girl, but fortunately she didn't know about it. One of his friends, a boy, taught me one Vietnamese sentence which was something like that: ti red dep; I've never learned what it could mean. Maybe he was jealous and wanted to make fun of me? I'm sure we all will enjoy all your blogs. Best wishes. Adek.

Nice to see you here.Your English is quite impressive.I don't know what your Chinese is like, but i can imagine it must be great. Wish you have a wonderful experience here.

Hello Ha!It's going to be great time with you.Good luck!

Hi Ha, you have an adorable name. Welcome! Is vienamest similar to cantonest or something like that? I am just curious. You must have prolific experiences on how to study a brand new foreign language. So please share with us,because you set a good example for us.Best wishes to You!

Hi Ha! I hope you introduce your wonderful culture and food in your blog over the next month. Actually I have been to Vietnam couples of times and I was really attracted Vitnamese cuisine. Unfortunately here in the US it is difficult to find good Vietnamese restaurant even though there are many Vietnamese restaurants. The reason is that taste is generally modified to american prefered taste. I really miss authentic food.

Welcome Ha, Nice to meet you. I also love learning foreign languages, I hope to learn a lot about your country, culture etc... Wish you all the best in this new journey in your life.

Hello Ha, I am so happy while reading your blog. The reason, as you could guess, because you are probably the first Vietnamese blogger of this BBC Learning English website. But, you deserve to this. Your English is so good that I even thought that it is no need of you to take part in this website. In fact, I thought of being a blogger but I did not since I am quite busy and I do not have much to share with others even about our country. So, I leave this task for you. Hope that you can do your master abroad. If you need information about education in the Netherlandsm just tell me. I will try to do something. P
