Carrer in our life

Hello to Samantha and everyone!

Weekend is coming! My congratulations! :)
A great feeling of Friday!

Well, thanks for your answers for such important question as LOVE. I agree with Patricia from Poland who had written “But be careful! Love is not just spring! You must to be able to survive the most hard and cold winter if you want an ever lasting love”. Absolutely truth. But who knows about how does it work. How people can survive in the world of LOVE. You know, we have grown in different cultures and dreamed about men & women goals. Job and career are the most important places for men. Family and children - that is the main goal for women. Today we know examples when for men more important their family and women are very good at business….Different people have different lifes.

Today I would like to speak about job in your life. What do you do for your career? Is it an aim for you and would you like to improve yourself? Or do you work to get money and to feel freely? These are good questions. For me all things are important. First of all I want to make myself and to achieve career. I do a step by step and feel how it’s great to grow up. And it is a great feeling of freedom of course. When you aren’t dependent on your parents. I started my first job when was 17 y.o. Got a small salary but it was enough for me. I felt free! Now I make much more many and it isn’t enough for young pretty woman :) I couldn’t work if a job is not interesting for me. So, now I am lucky because have a job which I like and still be independent. It is not easy to spend a big part of your life at work. My job not just pleasure, new interesting people and smiles. I get my experience through mistakes. Still learn life’s lessons. And often watch my job in awfully night dreams;). Think I will change my opinion and want to get children but after a while. Want to do something more at my specialization…..

Wish you were happy with your job!

Have a great weekend!

With best wishes,
Lidia

I work to pay my English course and to support my family. I enjoy my job, however I don´t earn enough to go to the university yeat. Of course it´s really important have goals to the career, but sometimes is quite difficult to fix them. So I think that we must be self-disciplinated and determinated to fulfill our goals and don´t loose the focus in our way to pursue them. Best wishes, Ana Paula.

I really don't like very much my job, but it give me a lot o free time which I can spend doing what I really like, like study English for fun, for example. By the way, I have to go to work. Have a nice weekend.

Dear Lidia,I have a half-time-job in the social area. I work with people , who are chronical psycical ill. I love my job, though it is often stressful, because you have to communicate all the time. There isn't a really chance to make carreer, especially when you have a half-time-job.When you have a job in the economy you often get a high salary, but in the social area you haven't a really chance to get a high salary. The work with people, especially ill people, isn't so much worth, as for excample to sell cars or to manage a firm. My husband works in the social area, too .We have a daughter, she still goes to school. The money we earn is enough for our way of living, but sometimes we dream to win in the lottery and change a little bit our life. Have a good time...

hi lidia ur blog is an intresting blog. i think finding a good job is realy important you should feel relax with your job and be intrested to go to your job everyday the same as ur first day of your job and beside a good salaryyou earn you should learn something new every day

Lidia you don't know How am I agree with you this time !! Things that you said about life with working and withouth working.. I've just graduated from university 1 year ago and then I started to work in a company. So, I was realized how can life be harder than harder. It was an unbelievable experience for me. I was in a deppression for a while. Because I couldn't do anything as before. I couldn't be home early, it was always at night and I started to see home at night all the time. Because I had to wake up in the morning and time was dark. So I couldn't make a trip with my friends whenever I want! That's terrible! Is this the real life? I couldn't believe it. Then slowly I must started to get used to this my new life because everyone around me live like that as if it is normal! Childhood was over anymore and I would never go outside by wearing my boats when snowing, I would never go outside and join'em when children play on the street etc..I want to say that life was getting ordinary and bored.. That's all over now. The new and real life started anymore and I had to keep up with that situation. So I left my first job because of some reasons a month ago and I'm looking for a new job right now, so the traffic going to be started again :). But you know, now, I can't live without working :)) I suppose I'll never understand the life, maybe after years.. worries and desires never be end and we have to be alive ;)) Best wishes, Hasan

this is my first sight of the english blog ,it is so amzzing and interesting, I will often come here to pay my attention to it

Hi Lidia, Why you earn money is a question in my mind. I was thinking about this. LIfe is for multi-purpose. So you have to earn to survive and leave some for your children. At the same time you have to find time to spare for social and cultural activities. This way I am getting peace of mind more than what I am getting from my job. You have spend little for public who are in need of money to survive. That is the right of poor people on your earnings. The good deeds like this will bring success for you in here and hereafter. Best wishes Sasuna Doha, Qatar

I think Job plays an important role in our lives. But i still think love is spring. Love encourages to overcome problems we meet in our lives. Thank you for giving me good advice.

Hello, I'm 18 years old and perhaps one of the most important decisions in my life will be made in next few months. In Mai I'm writing the maturity exam and after I get the results I will apply for a place on buisness college I've chosen some time ago. I'm a bit scared about the whole maturity tests but I'm fully determined to achieve my target. I'm writing an extended exam from english but I don't think I'm well prepared, there's just over a month left so I have to work harder! What about my further job? I'll be happy enough when I'll be at least employed (of course with relatively good salary). I'm going to try my strenghts in immovable properties section, it's still developing in my country so looking forward to it. Establishing a firm would be a great effort to secure pleasant lifetime in the future. But for now I'm concentrated on the maturity exam, I wish I would pass it well and with sufficient points to get to my favourite college. BTW. math and physics (both extended) are also subjects which i wil be examined from, so wish me luck :] PS. Please write me when I've made some grammar mistakes in this post, I would like to pass english in Mai (the 7th :) ) with 100% efficiency :]. Greets for everyone!

Hi Lidia and everyone, a very important questions from Lidia again. It is important especially for young people to find a direction in their life. How to find a path that will lead towards one´s personal goal? In my opinion it is hard to decide what would be the right course to take on a professional sense. Our work life changes so rapidly that one may have to have several options for one´s occupation. This means that one has to develop one´s ability all the time. It is rewarding, but it does requite a certain attitude. To me, money has never come too easily and I am grateful for that. Although I take work seriously, it also has to be rewarding even fun. In my opinion it is good to cherish values like honesty, ethics, creativity, humility, fairness, caring, creativity, punctuality, enthusiasms and dignity just to mention a few. Let us all make a difference in our jobs!

Hi! I'm studying English, but I don't speak very well. I study a lot. I'm retired, but I work just now. I'm a teacher. I teach math and arts. Have a nice day.

Well, I do agree that "Different people have different lives". Still, I have some doubt on "Job and career are most important places for men". I am a man. Before my graduation, I used to think that "My Life = Work". But, this sometimes goes away from me now. I have a very satisfied job with decent salary. Still, I do need more personal life, which makes me seemingly less concentrate on work. I used to tell myself that "Professional" <> "Personal". However, it is hard to do that. I don't know how different it is in other countries!

Hello Lidia and all buddies! As for me you have hooked not easy question of our life. May be it’s some wrong that many women are in business now. Please don’t angry at me, I only try to reason about this area. I think the main thing in this global process is: for women to save female pattern and for men vice versa. In our life is real danger to lose our individual (female/male) features. If woman spend most part of life for business it’s become difficult to save womanhood (but may be possible). I always was assured that woman strong is in her weakness and feminity. But in business it’s very difficult to save this for real business-lady. In the second place if you have time for family, children and you have harmonic relations with husband or he can do some homework instead of you it’s good, but most often business-lady doesn’t have this. We don’t have time to give birth to children, don’t have enough time for family and so on. Of cause, we want to have money for our needs, but to earn money we should give up part of our own life. We faced with the dilemma. What is solution? Certainly first of all we should have an enjoyable work because it’s big part of our life and we can give a lot of our time for business if it’s not threat for our family. I wish you excellent work and be happy. With best wishes, Yuriy.

Hi Lidia, I'd like to comment now but I don't have much time. If you could read my two comments in the two recent Samantha's blogs, you will see my opinion about this. Have a nice day. Bye

Hi Lidia, it's very nice to participate again. I work as a math teacher. I like it, but I don't have many skills that are necessary to be a good teacher. But I try to improve and learn. But I have to confess that I think of changing my career. The teaching job doesn't pay very well if you are not a very skilled teacher. But it's also very hard to change at this point in life. The problem is I was always very insecure about my career and that made me make bad choices. What about you, have you always been sure about your career choice? Good bye for now.

to Mauricio. Hi, thanks for your answer! I can't say that sure about my career. Certainly, I would like to answer you "yes I am sure" but no. In our crazy world it is inpossible...But this days I am prerry happy with my job.

Hi Lidia and everyone. I'm Hygea from Singapore, but I'm not local Singaporean. My job is dealing with marketing. I have to do many cold calls every day. However, my English is a big obstacle. My boss is not satisfied with my performance, so I think I must put a lot of efforts. BBC Blog provides a good place for us to learn English, I appreciate it!
