Never mind!
Hello my blog's friends!
First of all want to thank our teacher Samantha for informative comments. Hope to use it in my grammatic technics.
Today was very sunny and spring day here. We got fresh air and first warm of the sun. People smile and make joks. Life if beautiful!:) I send warm sun from Moscow to every town in the world where it wasn't sunny today!
We spent a lovely weekend. I wathched DVD with my friends. I liked to watched once again "The illusionist" and easy movie "Firts 50 kisses". Romantica...:)
But why Monday comes every week? :) I remember one well known artist in Russia. He has sung a song about Mondays. Like " people who were born on Monday are unhappy and we need to exlude Mondays". A good thing, I suggest. Wish you spent a good week!
Well, my blog today is a question.
I would like to ask our friends about "never mind".
What does it mean for you? Is it a secret word for you? Or is it just a loud phrase but nothing of serious for you?
Send your answers and we will try to understand it together!
Thanks.
With best wishes,
Lidia

Hello Lidia! I´m glad to hear from you again. Well, you had a nice weekend with your friends. I love it watch films too. Now about your question I think never mind means something that you don´t need to worry too much about, something that it doesn´t matter or it´s better forget about it. I hope you have a nice sunny week! Best wishes, Ana Paula.
This year, winter is very strange! I remember that first new year's days were very cold with snow. But after that, weather was alike in autumn :). And now, there are sun with blue sky without snow! I love
Good evening Lidia. I am a bit different. I start the week with 100 % of my energy which has been recharged on the weekend. On tuesday it falls to 90, on wednesday to 80, on thursday to 70... On friday it rises a little bit more because it's the expectation for the weekend. On the saturday it rises scalating to more than 1000% ( I simply love the saturday) to decline "brutally" ( does exist this word? )at the end of sunday to 0,1 % just to avoid the complete and empty zero. I have a friend from São Paulo working in a stressful office who says that the worst day of the week for him is thursday. He calls it "The International day of the chaos". Well...not at all. For your question I think "never mind" means "Don't worry" or something like that. I don't know how to explain. In portuguese we would say "Deixa pra lá". Example: When we ask a friend "what were you trying to tell me yesterday?" and the person says "Never mind". Ok, It's bedtime now. My son's little bear is sending a good night for you Lidia. Bye
Dear Lidia,i would like to thank you for this entry.and it is a good idea to interact with all virtual friends who shared their experience here.I love to read all blogs from every corner of the world, which makes me like a true globetrotter. This is my response to'Never Mind'.First, never mind to me is a beautiful phrase, because it may comforts me when it comes to something unfortunate. For example,if i failed this time,i will said to myself 'never mind, baby',so that i wont surrender easily.Try,try, try again.Second,if someone disrespect you,and you think 'never mind',which can broaden your mind and you will become more tolerant.Easy said than done.I wish we will never mind others'mistakes, but do not forgive your owns.
Hai Lidia... My name is Nia. I am very happy today after found this useful blog. I do hope to find a lot of friend to share about anything that interest for anybody. I just heard from you that there is a song which sing the phrase like 'people who were born on Monday are unhappy'. If I may share about some feelings when Monday has come, it's a bit bored as you said, but some people suggested me to say anything we want to have after we just wake up in the morning. They said mind is controlling our brain. If poeple will say 'I am happy that Monday has come' it will be different. Say it 3 times after wake up by taking long breath. I did it. It was succesful to change from 'I dont like Monday' to be 'I like Monday' About your question of never mind. I use it for the same meaning of you dont have to think (it) on your mind. Best regards, Nia
Hello Lidia , here we are with your new blog and every blog of yours is getting more and more interesting but we still want to know a lot about you , I am looking forward to reading more about you and how you behave with your family , for instance , do you still live with your family or already you have your home , as I know in Moscow it's difficult to afford flat because life there is getting more expensive , isn't it ? I don't have problem with Mondays but of course I have problem with Saturdays because in our country the Thursday and Friday are day off , consequently Saturday is the first day of the week , by the way now I don't work and for me whether today is Monday or Saturday , never mind :)
Hi Lidia, I have received your warm sun because Beijing is overcast today. Get down to 'Never mind'. I think it means it doesn't matter, don't care about it. What's your opinion? I hope to see it.
Hi Lidia, How do you do ! I feel happy that we can share your life at this blog. Thank you ! Would you mind answer me some questions. Thanks! How do you learn the language of English well ? Had you consider to give up or having the difficult things ? I hope that you can understand what my mean. Because my english is poor. Sometimes, I want to learn the English well , but it is very difficult. Best wishes, FANNY
Dear Lidia… your question never mind to me means do not worry, be happy, let me make it better, a poor thing, or dear... I was happy to hear you had a lovely weekend Lidia. I also had a very good weekend, we went skiing. Part from doing a lot of outdoor activities, I have done a lot of reading. I just finished reading the mystery of the blue train by Agatha Christie. I read the book in English. The last books which I read in Finnish were both by a same author, Paulo Coelho. By the way if you my cyberspace friends would like to read some Finnish literature, I recommend that your read Sinuhe – the Egyptian by Mika Waltari.
never mind..hmmm,I think all my classmates and friends like to say that words...just a loud phrase but nothing of serious .I AGREE with u ..
LIDIA, YOU ARE A VERY SYMPATHETIC PERSON AND I LIKE VERY MUCH TO KNOW ABOUT YOU AND YOUR COUNTRY
Hi Lidia! I have been living in Moscow since 2000. Now, I am 6 st-year student at Moscow Technical State University named after Bauman. I agree with you, with what you have told, that Moscow - huge city full of energy and high speed of life, in spite of very cold and long winter. But, if only I have enough time and money. I still want to know more about Moscow! Thanks!
Hi Lidia, it's really interesting to learn about Russia and so because we had to learn a lot about it earlier in the communismus. Unfortunately I have forgotten almost everything, especially the language itself, although I was quite good at it. As for your English, please try to check your text for spelling mistakes, because it is a bit distracting! I'm sure you can speak English fluently, but if you write something I think you should be a bit more careful, because many people read it and they are likely to learn the wrong spelling! I hope you don't mind my advice! On the other hand, what you write about and your style is really impressive! By Kriszta

Hi, first I want to introduce myself. I am a Bangladeshi living in Japan now. I came here about two years ago with my husband, who is a monbukagakushu scholarship holder. I got enrolled for the graduation course. In Japan, people are very hard working, specially my professor works very hard. He comes to the lab even on Sundays. He enjoys his research works very much and expects us to work harder. We have to attend a meeting on Saturday with our professor, where we discuss about the results obtained in the last week. So I have only one day left to take rest, to recharge, that means the Sunday. But, again the day should be dedicated for doing all the unfinished works at home, that means the cleaning, washing cloths, shopping, cooking in bulk for the rest of the week etc etc. Sometimes I feel exhausted. I really want to work hard like my professor. I think I need an energy booster. Do you have any suggestions?
HI there,I am a new entrant to the world of blogs.I have read the myriad comments posted herein and am really impressed! To begin with,I think NEVER MIND can mean different things to different people eg.it may b a sort of consolation to someone who could not succeed in his endeavour, encouraging the person that he may b successful next time. Then ,it maylessen the agony of remorse when a person is forgiven by you just by saying NEVER MIND!SO on and so forth, never mind is a beautiful phrase which can b used for soothing frayed nerves!
Hello everybody. This words NEVER MIND are not just words and phrase. They can cheer you up. It have been a few days after my exams from English language you know. For me it is not easy because I am 46. To be honest I have felt as the most stupid person on this Earth for while.Very bad feeling. The examinators were nice to me, but... I did not show my knoweledge there, I was distracted and countproductive. With the topic of the presentation came to me milions of ideas-but I was not able put them in logigal way. They were in my head, but I was not able said them. For while I was thinking I will give up and I will never do it again -it is not for me, my brain just does not working under the press of exams! But my dad used to say to me when I was young - never give up when difficulty come to you. They will find you everywhere, just do not give up and try come throught it clever way and with dignity...So today I have said myself - Never mind! You are not stupid, move ahead, - it is the right way to be successful.Do not give up! And very much encouraged me blind English gentlment. He is 74 and he has a lot of experiences from life. I look after him. He said - never mind if you will not pass, you are doing very well. And this is my comment to the phrase NEVER MIND. I wish to all a lot of success with learning English language.
