About my family
Hello, everyone,
How you have been up to? Did you spend time for relaxing on weekend?
It’s very freeze in Korea. The day before yesterday, it’s snowed and heavy wind like storm. How’s weather in your country?
I just spent time to do all the housework as I planned.
Stephen, I’m good at cooking. I’m cooking any Korean foods. If you want to taste it, please come to Korea. I’ll cook for you.
I’m definitely sure that I took a rest at home last Sunday. Unfortunately even I didn’t go to the church. It’s shamed that I’m not good Christian recently. It means that I'm far from the church without reason. I don’t know why I didn’t feel very comfortable and holy while I was serving to God. I couldn’t pray to God that I was not enough to seek God’s purpose for me. I wanted myself to pray to God on the knee as much as I was anxious to know his will for me. I didn’t realized what he really wanted me to change. Do you believe in God? If so, could you suggest me how to recover this difficult moment?
Stephen, you asked me to make a list of questions for you. To be honest, I don’t know what kind of questions to you. Tell me first, what do you like to ask? For example, it’s about personal or educational. Also, if you have any questions to me, I’ll write to you. Is it possible to switch our role? Sorry that I’m not good girl to follow instruction by you. I believe you understand why I can’t make a list for you.
I’ll tell you about my family from now. My parents have 1 son and 4 daughters. My sister, named Young eun, first daughter of my parents is living in china as I told you on previous blog. She’s been to Bejing almost 3years. My brother-in-law is working for accountant company in Beijing. She’s not working and taking care of her 3kids. They are adorable, cute and lovely, sometime they are not polite but it’s no problem because my sister knows how to teach them. She’s very good at growing up her 3kids so they’re absolutely relied on her. She’s educational point of view that kids should be polite around of people.
My cousins, Boy is Hosun, Girls are Jiwon and Hyewon. Are they adorable enough?
I visited Beijing to see my sister twice that I stayed with them almost 2weeks at first before I flied to U.K. One thing, I didn’t tell you that I was in Manchester for 9months 3years ago. I was totally exhausted at work and wanted to take a rest because I realized I needed time to think abut my future then I decided to go abroad for studying more. My job needs good English skills and speaking fluency. I don’t think my English is much better than before but I’ve got unforgettable experiences in U.K that many foreign friends are still around me and beautiful atmosphere is reminded on my mind I traveled. Oh, I should be stopped writing about that because it can be a long story. I’ll tell you later.
I visited Beijing last year. A friend of mine, who named Maggie, Chinese, lived in the same house, the next room to me, is living in Bejing. She’s very nice, kind, warm and very smart. We haven’t seen each other almost 2years after I left for Seoul. It was very good time for us because we’re only knowing each other from the deep heart.
She wanted me to have a big dinner with her parents when I’ve been there but I couldn’t it. I’m very sorry about that again.
Now we’re sometimes talking on MSN. She liked to work in U.K. She’s waiting for work permit by Chinese government. I hope she can work in U.K as much as she wanted.
I took photos in Manchester.
My oldest sister’s kids are studying in English at international school in Bejing. I think their English is better than me because they’re very young to learn languages. You know, it’s not easy to learn foreign languages as you getting older. I tried to learn Spanish last year but failed to learn and must be tried to it this year again. Tell me and make me encourage, I can learn anything what I want.
It’s a little out of focus blog that I didn’t describe on my family very well.
I’ll tell you more stories soon.

Hi Soyoung Lee! The kids are more than adorable. In my opinion, kids always are cute because of their spontaneity. Dear Lee, why are you so shy and don't ask anyting despite the fact that you are encouraged? We can help you in making questionary for Stephen. I am always curious to understand how people succeed and what skills they need in order to succeed in their career. For example I would like ask Stephen: 1.Are you satisfied of your job and if you have a chance to change it would you do that? 2. What is the most important skill or part of character which is required to be a good teacher? I am interested because in my country most of teachers are women. Maybe because of their patience to work with children. The next questions could be: 3.Do you think you are a good parent? What does your daughter think about that? 4.What should one do in order to become your friend? How can one lose you as a friend? .... I think these questions are not too private to be discussed in the blog. Moreover our teacher has shown us that is sincere, outspoken and ready to share his experience with us.I hope I didn't offend anyone with my questions. Best wishes to all! Diema

Hi Soyoung, what do you think of Diema's questions? I my opinion they are extremely interesting and her idea that readers could also contribute by asking their own questions is excellent. I am sure Stephen likes challenges so I am looking forward to his reply. Diema, thanks a lot. You are indeed one of the most generous and faithful readers (just to repeat our teacher's words). By for now,
Dear soyoung, Your Sunday reelections are interesting. Don’t worry about not going to the church on Sunday. We can pray and speak to God where ever we are. One think is certain that you are worrying about not relate with God. You want to relate with the God, that’s why you ashamed. When ever you have a free time tried to go to the church and fulfill the obligation. Our god is not a punishable man that you are not coming to the church. He wants us to show the love and affection to which we are relating with. Many people are not concerning with others but going to the church without fail. What’s the use of that? You are capable are asking many questions to Stephen. He can guide you. Try to think about asking question.
Dear Soyoung, you asked how to recover your relations with God. God knows about your anxiety, he knows that you aren't indifferent to him. Don't worry, just relax and let him work! One day you will certainly get a superb answer to your questions. The weather in our country is rarely warm. There are mushrooms in forest and flowers in garden, but normally it is very frosty in January, temperature must be below zero. Best wishes to you and your family.
Hello Soyoung, I recently started to improve my English by BBC web suit and you are the first blogger who I am going to be familiar with her, it’s great chance for me to find good foreign friends to improve not only my English but quality of my life by reading their notes, anyway, I will start with your today’s notes: About going to church and gods, I believe doing ritual and ceremony is to remind ourselves the significant values of life and it guide us towards right way, I will do them when I need to! I predict that you have warm and generous family, you know in new life people don’t have enough time to spend it with their family what about you and please tell us more about family relation in Korea. Good luck Ali from iran
Hi Soyoung. I live in México City, here the weather is great, more warm tan cold. I study journalism in the most important university in LatinAmerica (UNAM)but now I'm on holidays. You're right, learn foreign language is very hard when you are not kid, because you have to do a lot of things from school, home, etc. Now I'm studying english, I started six months ago, and is not very difficult but require time if you want to learn right. Sometimes I watching BBC World on TV, or cartoons in english, I think is a good way to learn and practice your listening. I hope you learn spanish, wolud you like visit México, or Spain or another LatinAmerica country??
Hello Soyoung! Here the weather is terrible hot, even though today is a cloudy day. I think later we will have a heavy rain. Everybody once in a moment of the life had douts about God´s purpose for our lives.I think it is normal, and it is part of human nature has these kind of douts and questions about God. God is in everywhere, including inside you. Calm your heart and soul and you find out the answers. By the way the children are cute! Regards.
Yes soyoung, you should take clues from diema's questions and ask stephen these. he is a very supportive and encouraging and he would be more than happy to answer them. and i think he has a good sense of humor!
