Get stuck in the mountains...
Hello there:
Well, I have just woke up and I feel well now, my sister cooked a delicious meal,
but I am upset with her because her boyfriend is comming to eat. I am a bit jelous but I know it is wrong isn`t it?
About my trip, I told you I got stuck in the road, well, While we were waiting for help, we were playing cards and listening to music. Most people were eating, I think, there were about 50 people on our side, the weather get better. While we were waiting inside the car, the machinery came, and started to clean the road, but there were a big pile of rocks and mud and seemed which they never had finished their work. It was about 6:00 when another "huayco" blocked the road again, I couldn`t belive it, I didn`t want sleep inside the car again. So my friends and me, decided to find another way to cross. My friend, Felipe, asked to a man who was selling hot drinks, if there was another way to cross towards other side. He told us, which he could guide us, if we payed him ten dollars. We agree so we left the car with the driver, and then we followed to us guide. It was dark, but we had had lanterns, there was a footpath, where people walk when they go on foot. So we walk for an hour at least and we finally arrived.
There were not any car to go to Lima, it was about 3:00, when we found a car which it was going to Lima. We catched it and after four hours, we finally arrived.
As I said, I was very stressed, I couldn`t sleep well, and of course I was upset because I was waste my free day on the car. But my boss, give us another free day, so we will spend it sleeping, and of course eating.
Well tomorrow will be a better day, I wanted to be more possitive.
I am looking foward to hearing more about you.
best wishes.
Federico.

Hi Federico! It was a bad luck to spend your free day in the car. It sounds me frightfully to walk in the dark in the mountains. You are a brave man who can fight against everyday life problems. Fortunately, everything is over so I hope you slept like a log last nignt. It is time for celebration so prepare yourself for Christmas!I suppose you won't work on the 24-th and 25-th of Decembre. It would be a sin. Best wishes Diema
Hi Federico, my first reaction to your last entry was ‘oh, my Goddess!’, especially that I was sitting in my cosy room and it was in such contradiction to what was going on somewhere high in the mountains ... But what crossed my mind just after a while was that this is so exciting topic, you are really lucky - there are lots of things going on during the blogging month! I think I know how you did feel while in the middle of that ‘huayco’ as it often occurs during the off-road rallies but there is of course a subtle difference – the off-road men just love it, they are absolutely crazy about mud, sand or rocks – the more the better. And obviously this just their hobby – your situation was quite the opposite. Federico, it was really great what you wrote about ‘Don Kichote” – chappeau bas!
JUST I LOGGED TO UR BLOG, AND THIS IS A GOOD IDEA FOR LEARNING AN FUN
Oh,poor Federico!! you had a really hetic and unlucky day.I totally understand how anxious and unhappy you were at that time.Never mind at least you got home safely and could see your sister and had a scumptious meal.By the way,you are not going to give your sister's boyfriend a black eye because of your jealousy, are you? I am very happy for you have anothe day off and have a great day!!
Dear All, as I'm not sure if I'll be able to follow the blog within the next few days I'd like to wish you a Merry Christmas and all the best in the New Year. My special wishes go to Stephen and Federico, to all previous teacher bloggers and student bloggers, and of course to readers (some of you I remember by name). And last but not least to BBC team - good luck for improving something that is really perfect! I had a wonderful time being with you - thank you and see you perhaps in a New Year.
Dear Federico, I feel very sorry that you got stuck on the road because of landslides. I had similar experience, but that was when was on my way from my hometown back to big cities to work. I stayed in a long-distance bus for 7 hours, spending much time sending out messages.
