Take a break

Hi there
How was your weekend? Mine was wonderful.Me, my dad and my sister went out for having a lovely dinner.Mom didn't come with us as she went up to Chiang Rai, a north province of Thailand with her friends. And the basic matter was "no mom, no foods" LoL . It was like our short trip. We drove around from place to place, having a big meal here and taking some sweets there. Everything was great and I wished mom were here with us. I carried my big belly with a wonderful moment home. <333
I woke up a bit late this morning. It's a public holiday.Great!!! while I was planning to lay in my bed, watch TV all day, I noticed a piece of paper on the table. Oh!!!! no!!!! Don't tell me that I took my works to home. I opened my eyes wider and saw them clearer. My dream was collapsed immediately. "Welcome back to the real world", those files said. What I have to do is to study the feasibility of the project as my company are planning to develop the new housing project. Anyway, I won't give up. There will be more than 20 years that I will be able watch TV. after the retirement. So hang in there...cheers!!!

I have 8 years of professional experience. In the first 5 years I did everything I could in order to help my companies. I worked many hours a day and most weekends and I have almost no personnal life. I concluded during that time that the companies didn´t thanks me all the time for my efortts and time I put on them. Of course I learn a lot while working on those companies. Eventhought I have a better salary at that time after 5 years of working I ended in a company where I worked and was payed less but have more time for my personnal things.

Hi Chittisa, It's so great to read your blog and know how you have been up to. It's so surprise to know of your "adventure" of "no mom, no food". Unlike you, I am lodging a small room in Quang Ngai and live alone. So, I have been almost used to living without mom and dad's care for 2 years. You are so lucky to have such a family, spend a short time without one of them... Though my house is not very far from Quang Ngai, I have not many chances of coming back it. I wish I had time of living with the whole family and... had the happiness of waiting for the gathering and dinner, like you. "Welcome back to the real world". uhm, I and my work don't often say this way of talking 'cause I know the world is aways "real"! Sounds like that you are really busy with your working. Hope all things are very well! Good luck. ah, you don't need to wait for your retirement to watch TV at all! Take it easy! Now, I'm only 16 and am still a student. I hardly imagine how life is changing when I get older. So, your blog is really interesting and worth reading. Congratulations, Chittisa. Hoping to make friend with u. Wish you success and confidence and more time! Thi Hien.

Hi, From time to time I also have to do some work at home during weekend and I am really unhappy because of it. I usually do a lot of unnecessary things before I start writing report or something else. But the last weekend I was free and I went to the cinema to see Volver. This is a moving story about women told in a lighthearted and melancholic way typical for Almodovar. Penelope Criuz is at her best, both as a woman and as an actress. And beautiful music, also at the end of the film when some people are leaving and some are staying until the very end.

At the moment we are enjoying a long holiday for celebrating the EID. After a ritual of one month fasting the EID comes as a relief for eonjoyment again. Meeting friends and relatives is something we do. In a single day I was to houses of more than 10 relatives. Chilling out late nights is another thing I enjoy. As because there are no classes there is no pressure to go to bed early. Wish all days of the year were Eid days.

Hello! It is nice to take a brake at the weekends or at the public holiday.I read very interesting article in a computer magazine yesterday. The author tells a story of a two woodsmen, who have the same job. They begin their shift at 8 in the morning and cut wood until 5 pm.The first man takes a break every hour for 10 minutes and a lunch break. The second stops only for lunch. The question is which woodsman cuts more wood. The answer is obvious(;-),the woodsman, who stops to sharpen his axe will cut more wood...So the moral of this story is to take time out to look around, sleep in and in general spend time not working. We should balance in our personal and professional life.Have a nice day!Diema

Actually I have the same feeling with you.No time to enjoy my own personal life. After working I must take care of my 5-years-old girl who are in kindergarden. Career and family take all my time.Sometimes I hope I was single so I can enjoy my life without thinking my family. I can go shopping with my peer group.Anyway it is real world I must face everything in front of me.Cheer up ! Tomorrow is different.

Hi Aey, Firstly, I would like to congratulate you on what you wrote in your blog, it’s very interesting! Blogging is a good way to study English, especially in written. I myself come to your blog everyday, to learn and to relax. Secondly, I wonder about your commitment with BBC, 'cause I think you promised to blog everyday (except weekends). So I think you should spend a little time on blogging, at least to fulfil your duty. Sorry if my words are so frank and I bother you. But I hope you'll see my effort to make not only me, you but also all readers studying English better. Wish you all the best!

I travelled to Chiang rai when I was young.I like Chiang rai because it is a nice place and good atmosphere. My family rarely goes to province because my parents have to work.
