Can too many cats be a disaster?

In China some men stay at home to take care of their children, too. But they often feel a bit ashamed to admit that. They feel the peer pressure that men are usually bread maker. I hope it will change soon.

There are lots of homeless cats in our building complex. When I am walking in our complex, I often see different cats.

This is my favorite one---a white Persian cat. Her name is “miss”. Her fur is so long that I guess she feels very hoot in the summers. Her eyes have different color: one is yellow; another is gray. She is friendly and doesn’t scratch any people.

The scary one is a black cat. When I had just moved here, one night I came home with some KFC food. The big black cat sat in front of the entry of our corridor and stared at me in the dark. He didn’t give me the way and had looked at me for long time. I was so scared that I stop walking until he walked away. I was sure he will fight me for the food, if I were not bigger than him.

There are 2-3 women who feed those cats everyday. The children call them cat mothers. They sometimes take bathes for those cats. And they also help the cats have babies. But they don’t offer shelters for these cars. I think that is because there are too many cats. There are only 3 buildings in our building complex, but nearly 20 homeless cats.

Cats make our neighborhood more interesting, hut they also brought some problems. In the spring and autumn they make big noises in our quiet community all nights. Some people said they couldn’t fall asleep. Some people said these cats carry fleas and skin disease. The worse is cats become more and more. They sometimes try to find food in the dump and tips, so they made the yard untidy.

Well, too many mice are a disaster, but what about too many cats?

I also like cat very much. There's a black one in my family. Its lovely looks gives me many pleasure.Besides,I also am proud of you for your good english as well as Alina who comes from China too.

hello,Jenny! we've seen a brown cat at the corner of our garden and it's wet through as it is pouring down.my son,who is four years old, asks me to bring it insied the house, feed it and cover it with a blanket.it is very kind of him!!!! i'm not a pet person though i like watching animal's programs on telly and visiting to zoos to see animals. many people treat their pets so well like their own children and some of them do not mind removing their pet's sewage which is very reek and it makes people annoying a lot. i wish these people knew that they can keep their pets but also it's their duty keep the streets clean.

I think so that the cats can be very useful for the neighborhood, because to live together with mice it's very dangerous, and in realy, I like cats a lot.

Thanks for all your contributions. This blog has now closed and can no longer accept new comments.
