international citizens & English

We are in our living room now. I’m sitting by my computer desk. My daughter is sitting in front of our eating table and watch TV.

Her interest changed to TV from computer. She likes Korean dramas. Further on her taste has influenced me. While I am surfing on internet, I also watch the TV. Recently it shows “a man and a woman in an attic”. The story is funny just like it happens in China.

In this Korean drama the well-educated people speak fluent English and lived abroad for some years, like in China. I read an article about “the international citizens”, who know at least two languages, lived in two different countries for some years and have home in two different countries. So you are an international citizen, Lewis! Maybe some visitors to our blog are international citizens, too, such as hyoshil. When I read the commends from all over the world, I absolutely admit English deserves the repetition of an international language.
big goose pagoda
This is Big Goose Pagoda, built in 625 years AD. it was used to store Buddhist materials taken from India by the monks.

It was raining in those two days. The autumn is coming. When I go out, I will consider if I should put on a jacket. I am happy because I don’t need to worry about the electricity fee. I topped the electricity card too often in the last two month!

To my surprise, my parent came to my home today. When I came in my home in this afternoon, my mother was parking the garbage! I was embarrassed for the mess. I don’t visit my parents regularly. When Meg was younger, we used to visit them every week. Now I visit them when I miss them. It takes one hour to do to their home by bus. My mother who was a teacher of middle school often comes to my home to teach Meg math. So we often see each other. Recently she didn’t come because of the hot weather.

I am glad to find some information about ShanXi. Because I am from there. I have worked in shanghai for about ten years, I miss nosh of Shanxi. It is my please to contact with you.

I think that the girls of china were deeply affected by the Korean dramas. But in my opinion, most of the dramas were invaluable, useless for our life. They are too romantic, just like a dream that can not reach by most young people.

Thanks for all your contributions. This blog has now closed and can no longer accept new comments.
