best wishes for the baby

Summer in xi’an means watermelons, peaches and ducks. It is also hot and humid like in Japan. At day we are woken up the sound of Cicadas, at night we sleep with the sound of crickets. I sill remembered when I was younger, my mother fanned to make me go to sleep. Fortunately now most places have got air-conditioners, so we speed most time inside. When it is dark at 8pm, many people are walking and playing outside, in parks or just on sides of roads. The nearest park opens from 6am to 12pm and it is free. Many restaurants offer BBQ. People eat toasted fish, lamp, beef and chicken wings.

This is a main street near my neighborhood. I took this photo on a bridge. In xi’an there are lots of big internet café, especially near universities.Though in cities many people have computers.

Recently a famous Chinese singer has a baby. This baby has birth defect---hair lips. The baby’s father---a famous actor admitted this news in his blog. Because when they took their infant to USA to have the operation, some people saw them and reports published the news. More than 10000 people post commends to make best wishes for the baby. Nowadays some doctor volunteers from western courtiers came to our city to take hair lips operations free for poor people. They are so charitable!

Lots of people criticized the journalists losing the conscience. People always want to know truth, though it may hurt other’s feelings. In this case it involves minors’ rights.

Happy to hear you will travel to Nagato. It must be cool and quiet. I like traveling, too. My husband and I often drive into countryside on weekends with some friends. We claim mountains, swim in rives, go fishing in ponds and eat meal in farms. I didn’t go with him recently, because I was entranced with learning English and I don’t want to miss any class.
