a composition
Today my husband sent my computer to a company to have it repaired . It has been reinstalled my operating system and now works well.lucklly, I only lost most softwares and the most data is kept. However it still can’t get access to internet. Tomorrow I will check the telephone company, which is in changes of ADSL working. So I will post this essay later in internet café.
Today we told about why we study English. 3 of 6 students want to study abroad, including me. We all are preparing exams. So I tried to write a composition. Here is the topic:
“there is only one definition of success---to be able to spend your life in your own way.” To what extent do you agree or disagree with the opinion expressed above. Support your views with reasons and/or examples from your own experience, observations, or reading.
Here is my composition:
Everyone dreams to be success. Those dreams are definitely connected with happiness, harmony and affluences. However people’s dreams may be really different from each other. Like my friend Lisa, who is a nurse , regarded helping people to recover is the most meaningfully thing in the world. But Abby, my another friend, think nursing is scary, because it is dealing with sick people. Sometimes it is too bloody. Abby wants to work for government for it’s security and stability, although Lisa thinks it is too boring. In this case we can see success has a wide variety of different definitions for different people. At this level I do agree with this statement.
However, it is not unlimited. One’s action may be not beneficial for others, but at least it should not bother or harm others. I have read a piece of news. It says, one man loved a woman older then him 10 years. The village didn’t accept them so they moved to the mountains out of the way.
Later they had 5 children. Now they are all adults and live healthily. I think this is acceptable. Life is only one time for everyone. Why not live in his own way? But another person’s action is totally unacceptable. He killed some beggars since he wanted to release them from bad living conditions. He did what he wanted but harmed others. Beggars have their dreams, even though the others think their dreams are low and small.
In a word, I agree that “there is only one definition of success---to be able to spend your life in your own way.” If you don’t bother or harm others’
lives.

Here is my composition:
in this essay I will give reasons why I partly agree that there is only one definition of success---to be able to spend your life in your own way.
Firstly, success has different definitions for different people. Everyone dreams to be success. Those dreams are definitely connected with happiness, harmony and affluences. However people’s dreams may be really different from each other. For example, my friend Lisa, who is a nurse , regarded helping people to recover the most meaningfully thing in the world.
Secondly, one’s success can not be harmful for our society or other people. One’s action may be not beneficial for others, but at least it should not bother or harm others. Such as a piece of news I have read . It says, one man loved a woman older then him 10 years. The village didn’t accept them so they moved to the mountains out of the way. They didn’t have close connections with others. Later they had 5 children. Now they are all adults and live healthily. I think this is acceptable. Life is only one time for everyone. Why not live in his own way? On the other hand, some person’s action is totally unacceptable. For instance, some young people killed some beggars since they wanted to release them from bad living conditions. They did what he wanted but harmed others. Beggars have their dreams, even though the others think their dreams are low and small.
Lastly, I don’t think celebrities are more successful than ordinary residents. My English teacher’s father is a famous scientist, who discovered a new medicine. But for me he is more important than his father, even though his father was interviewed by Queen. In my thanking being a good mother is as same successful as being a good president.
In sum up, I agree that “there is only one definition of success---to be able to spend your life in your own way.” If you don’t bother or harm others’ lives.
