Cindy
JENNY FROM CHINA BLOGGED IN AUGUST
Today is just a normal day. Meg---my daughter had been playing on computer all the day. She know I have to write my blog, but she could not bear to leave the computer. She felt ashamed in the afternoon, so she promised to make a nice picture for me. Here it is.

Now she is in her room. I am drinking a big cup of lemon tea and thinking what to say.
Ok, I'd like to be a story teller and tell you the story of Cindy..
Cindy was my classmate from primary school to high school. We also lived in the same community. Her father was a driver. He drove the beautiful cars for some high ranking leaders. In my memory he was the most handsome man I have ever seen. Her mother was a professor. She taught French in a university. Our primary school is in this university's campus.
Since she was a child, Cindy was beautiful and had a lot of nice dress. She often ate chocolate and other exotic candy. There are no such products in our local market at that time. But her father had the way to get them. Maybe for this reason, Cindy looked as a girl when we all looked like children.
But things changed in her middle school. Cindy's mom was got a chance to study in French. She soon cohabited with the Frenchman who helped her to do abroad. He had taught in her university in china. Then Cindy's parents divorced. Cindy and her dad lived in China. Her mom married with that man and stayed abroad. Cindy's life became disorder. She was often in dresses that were too small. She began to eat in the eating place where usually only college students went. Her father's eyes looked really sad, although he tried to date with other women.
Cindy's mom took her to American when she had just graduated from high school. Her step father is not a bad guy. He supported her finish her university in American. To us surprise, Cindy came back after her graduation. She did different jobs in a big city of china. Then her farther retired, but he was still single. His eyes were still sad.
Cindy married very late. The couples live in the city she works. She has
two children up to now. Her father married at last. Cindy sent a nice car to him, since her husband's business run good. It is the first time he drives his own car.
I met Cindy's dad recently. He was fat and not handsome anymore. But the sadness in his eyes disappeared.

Hi Jenny, " People cannot be defined by what they have done, but what to define them is how well they can rise after falling". It seems that Cindy has already possessed this advantage. All the best, Michelle
