Breezy with cloudy skies this afternoon, with spells of rain moving onto the mainland. Variable cloud and brief bright spells with a few patches of rain for the Isles. Briefly drier this evening.

Tonight

Tonight, the mainland will be largely cloudy, with rain in parts of the west and the odd spot of rain elsewhere. The Isles will see intermittent light rain. Turning windy.

Monday

Tomorrow morning will be cloudy with outbreaks of rain. In the afternoon, the mainland and Shetland will turn dry with sunny spells, but Orkney will see bright spells and showers. Winds easing.

Outlook for Tuesday to Thursday

On Tuesday, the mainland will be dry with sunny spells. The Isles will be breezy with variable cloud and the odd shower in the morning. Wednesday is expected to be a dry and fine day with a good deal of sunshine, and just some clouds to the west of the mainland. Thursday looks to remain dry and bright before a band of cloud and patchy rain moves in from the west by evening.
