Tonight, the Isles will be partly cloudy with drizzle. Cloudy on the mainland with spells of light rain sweeping north and east. A milder night.

Sunday

Tomorrow will see variable cloud and thundery showers on the mainland and Orkney. Early rain will clear from Shetland to leave brief sunshine but cloud and further rain will sweep north later on.

Outlook for Monday to Wednesday

On Monday, partly cloudy with showers on the mainland. Mostly sunny on the Isles but Orkney may see the odd shower drift in from the south occasionally. Turning unsettled and windy on Tuesday with cloud and thundery showers on the mainland. Early sunshine on the Isles, rain later. Remaining windy on Wednesday with further showers.
