  | We are under no illusions as to the seriousness of this game and how important a win can be |
The second round of British & Irish Cup takes us to Dublin on Friday. It's international weekend again, but the big match of the weekend isn't Ireland v South Africa, it's our game on Friday night! We are going into this game after a good run of performances. Last weeks victory over Gael Force was pleasing for the squad because we felt we were dominant for 80 minutes. Our set piece, which has come under some criticism, was on top form and the big lads up front really showed their metal. Leinster will be a different challenge, they beat Plymouth at Brickfields last week and have strengthened their squad for our visit to Donnybrook. They have included some senior players and are clearly taking this competition very seriously. We are confident that if we perform, then we will get something from the game. We want to continue this good run of form especially as we return to league fixtures next week. My last visit to Donnybrook was a tough and tight affair, a 13-13 draw against Ireland Clubs for the England counties. I'm sure it'll be a close affair and I'm hoping for a personal repeat performance as I scored our try that night. I'm on the bench this week and if I get my chance, I hope to make a positive impact on the game. The flight across, change in competition, and the Irish's hospitality are all distractions that we need to ignore. We are in Dublin for one reason and one reason only, and that is to continue our good start in this competition and gain some valuable group points.
