Cornish Pirates scrum-half

  | We are under no illusions as to the seriousness of this game and how important a win can be |
Last week's game was not one of mixed emotions as many people will think. A lot of people have said, "well done". But we lost, and even though we got the losing bonus point, we were very disappointed to come away from the game second best. We were very much in the game but errors again let us down. This week sees a change in focus to a new competition and a new challenge. Gael Force are the strongest Scottish side in the British & Irish cup and have invested a lot of money in bringing together a competitive side. We are under no illusions as to the seriousness of this game and how important a win could be. Like I've said before, winning can become a habit. Again we return home and we'll hope for a good turn out from the Cornish faithful. I assure you that training hasn't eased off and we are pushing ourselves to get better in every aspect of our game. It's great to see Johnny 'JB' Bentley back in action, as well as a return for big Rod Labuschagne and Rhys Jones. With the size of the squad improving and more to come, training has been stepped up. The intensity is great and competition for places is huge. Let's hope this benefits us on the pitch.
