Valkyrs A thrash Bacchas B to stay top of mixed league

Valkyrs A maintained their lead at the top of the Mixed Premier Division with a 6-1 victory over Bacchas B.

Steven Lowe and Olly Webster both netted two goals apiece for the westerners, with Amy Speed and Andrea Kneen adding further goals.

Tony Bentley-Roberts was the only Bacchas player to find the net.

Bacchas A ensured they remain in title contention with a 3-0 victory over Valkyrs B, with goals from Richard le Page, Karl Moore and Sharon Pope.

Elsewhere, Vikings A claimed a narrow 3-2 victory over Ramsey A to keep their title hopes alive.

Goals from Dave Millward, Andy Harding and Steven Crowe ensured Vikings claimed both points on offer. Matt Robertson and James Aitchison were the Ramsey scorers.

Vikings B claimed their first point of the season with a 3-3 draw against Castletown Celts.

In Mixed Division One, Saracens Sabres maintained their unbeaten record with a 5-3 victory over Bacchas C.

Castletown Cammags returned to winning ways thrashing Ramsey Ravens 8-3, while Vikings C continued their winning run with a 5-2 victory over Castletown Cushags.

Honours ended even between HQ Harlequins A and Valkyrs C in a close 1-1 draw.
