Valkyrs A booked their place in the semi-finals of the Men's Cup with a 2-1 victory over Vikings A at the National Sports Centre on Saturday. After a goalless first half, Greg Miller struck twice to seal victory for the westerners and put an end to a disappointing season for Vikings A. The Peel-based club will take on Vikings B in the next round. Castletown A emerged as winners of a closely fought match against rivals Saracens A with a 2-1 victory. Goals from Mark Corlett and Sven Lindeque proved enough for James Ormond's Castletown side. In the Women's Cup, league winners Vikings A thrashed Bacchas B 12-1 with captain Kim Carney finding the net on four occasions. Elsewhere Castletown A came from behind to secure an impressive 6-2 victory over Ramsey. The next round of the competition will take place in May.
