Vikings A thrashed Bacchas 9-1 in a rearranged fixture on Sunday to open up a three-point cushion over rivals Valkyres A. The leaders had dropped their first point in over two years on Saturday when they were held 2-2 by Valkyres. Valkyres B closed the gap on fifth place Ramsey after beating their opponents 4-3. In the Men's Premier League, Bacchas A beat title rivals Valkyres A 3-2 to move five points clear. The Cronkbourne side have won all 10 of their league games this season, scoring 85 goals and conceding just seven. Valkyres defeat gave Vikings A the opportunity to close the gap on second spot, which they took with a 7-0 win over Bacchas B. The win for Vikings means they are now just three points adrift of second place. At the other end, Saracens were beaten 3-0 by Vikings B and Castletown and Harlequins drew 1-1.
