Skillicorn won the race in a time of 17 minutes and 58 seconds |
He added: "The conditions under foot were soft and wet, which is great for grip, and once I got nearer the top I really got into my stride." Rosy Craine was the leading lady home in 24 minutes 19 seconds. Lesley Webb was the second lady home, with Rose Hooton third on her return to the fells. Meanwhile, 15-year-old Jason Moore was the leading junior in 20 minutes 37 seconds, finishing ninth overall. The third and final round will be held on 11 December.
