You can watch the European Hockey Championships from Manchester on the BBC. The Championships are the biggest hockey event held in England since the 1986 World Cup.
A lot is at stake as for the first time the top three teams in both the women's and men's competitions will qualify directly for the Olympics.
England represent Great Britain in the competition and will look to book their spot for Beijing and avoid further qualifying events in New Zealand, Chile and Japan next spring.
