Isle of Man men's hockey champions Bacchas A lost their 100 per cent winning record in the final match of the 2010/11 season on Saturday. Bacchas A were held to a 1-1 draw by second place Valkyres A, but still finished the season with a five point advantage over their rivals. Gareth Morris found the net for the westerners before Jamie Brown levelled. Meanwhile, Bacchas B thrashed Vikings A 5-1 and Castletown A beat second-bottom Harlequins A 3-1. Elsewhere, Vikings A beat Bacchas 4-1 to wrap up their fourth consecutive Women's Premier League title. Captain Kim Carney netted a superb hat-trick to cement her place at the top of the scorers table, with 40 goals. In a rearranged fixture played on Monday, Vikings thrashed runners-up Valkyrs A 5-0 to keep their unbeaten record intact. Elsewhere, Valkyrs B ended their season with an impressive 5-2 victory over Bacchas B. The Mixed Season begins on Saturday 29 January.
