Isle of Man men's hockey champions Bacchas A lost their 100 per cent winning record in the final match of the 2010/11 season on Saturday.

Bacchas A were held to a 1-1 draw by second place Valkyres A, but still finished the season with a five point advantage over their rivals.

Gareth Morris found the net for the westerners before Jamie Brown levelled.

In a rearranged fixture played on Monday, Vikings thrashed runners-up Valkyrs A 5-0 to keep their unbeaten record intact.

Elsewhere, Valkyrs B ended their season with an impressive 5-2 victory over Bacchas B.

The Mixed Season begins on Saturday 29 January.
