In-form striker Peter Duffield scored his fifth goal in as many games to help York maintain their perfect home record with an easy 2-0 win against Boston.

The forward made sure the return of former City boss Neil Thompson - now acting manager of Boston - was a miserable one with a fine 22nd-minute opener.

He had been put clean through by midfielder Lee Bullock.

Duffield then set up the second goal seven minutes after half-time with a clever flick to release Lee Nogan.

Nogan made no mistake with a shot which crept inside the near post past goalkeeper Paul Bastock.
