    Dan Creaney scored three goals in 12 league games for Solihull Moors this season

    Tamworth have re-signed forward Dan Creaney on a free transfer from Solihull Moors.

    He was a prolific scorer in his first spell at The Lamb Ground from 2023 to the summer of 2025 and returned in November for an eight-match loan spell.

    "I have been trying to get Dan back ever since his loan period ended in December," said manager Andy Peaks.

    "This is an 18-month deal so we are really pleased that we have Dan committed for next season too."

    Tamworth are 13th in National League and at home to Sutton United on Saturday.

    Forest Green Rovers have signed right-back Jay Mingi on loan from League One side Stockport County for the rest of the season.

    The 25-year-old, who can also play as a winger, has spent the first part of this campaign on loan with Crewe, making nine appearances.

    "Dynamism, power pace, great individual, met him yesterday and he fits right into our group," manager Robbie Savage told BBC Radio Gloucestershire.

    "Wants to get better, wants to play football, he will add so much to our team on the defensive side but also in the attacking sense."

    Gateshead have signed winger Ethan Moore on loan from Premier League side Sunderland until the end of the season.

    The 21-year-old recently made his return to football having spent two years out with a serious knee injury.

    He joins Gateshead having played against them earlier this season in the National League Cup for Sunderland.

    Woking have signed midfielder Joe Gbode on loan from Luton Town until the end of the season.

    The 20-year-old former Gillingham player joined the Hatters last summer and has made eight appearances for the League One club.

    Wealdstone have signed MK Dons defender Charlie Waller on a short-term loan deal.

    The 20-year-old spent December on loan with Rochdale, making three appearances.

    Waller has played 11 times for MK Dons' first team including eight in League Two last season.

    He also had a loan spell last term with Sutton United back in the National League playing 22 times for the club and scoring once.

    Will Sutton has signed for Solihull Moors on loan from Oldham

    Solihull Moors have signed Will Sutton from Oldham on loan until the end of the current season.

    The 23-year-old central defender has made more than 50 first-team appearances for Oldham since making his debut in 2021.

    He also brings experience gained in loan spells with Witton Albion and Farsley Celtic to Moors, who currently sit 10th in the National League.

    Southend United have signed goalkeeper Owen Mason on a three-month loan deal from League One side Mansfield Town.

    Mason, 21, made the bench for the Shrimpers' 4-1 win over Eastleigh on Tuesday night, but could make his debut for the club at Boston United on Saturday.

    The goalkeeper has featured five times for the Stags following a debut in April 2025 and has had loan spells at Guiseley, Farsley Celtic, Wexford and Gateshead.

    This season, Mason has played for Mansfield in three EFL Vertu Trophy games and in the FA Cup second round win against Accrington Stanley in early December, making three saves in a penalty shootout.

    Wealdstone have signed winger Michael Adu-Poku on a short-term loan from Championship neighbours Watford.

    The 20-year-old has made three first-team appearances for the Hornets and spent last season on loan at National League sides Rochdale and Solihull Moors.

    Adu-Poku spent part of this season on loan at League Two side Barrow, where he made eight appearances.

  9. Morecambe sign Leicester's Popov on loanpublished at 10:28 GMT 21 January

    Morecambe have signed forward Chris Popov on loan from Championship club Leicester City until the end of the season.

    The 21-year-old came through Leicester's academy having initially played in Manchester United's youth set-up.

    He also spent time on loan in League Two last season with Barrow, making 12 appearances for the club in all competitions.

    Morecambe have signed veteran defender Harlee Dean.

    The National League strugglers have not disclosed the length of deal the 34-year-old has signed.

    He has made 453 appearances in the Football League and had spells with Brentford, Birmingham and Reading.

    Dean, who has not played competitively since March of last year, could make his Shrimps debut against Halifax on Wednesday.
