Micah Obiero pounced in the 68th minute to seal a 3-2 win for Wealdstone over fading Tamworth at Grosvenor Vale.

The visitors went into the game on the back of two straight losses, but saw their flickering play-off hopes boosted by Stefan Mols' 21st-minute header to open the scoring.

Dylan Kadji levelled for the Stones, but Tamworth restored their advantage just past the half-hour mark when Ben Acquaye volleyed home with the help of a slight deflection.

An entertaining first period ended level when Sean Jordan Adarkwa tapped home from close range shortly before the interval.

And after Adarkwa had missed a golden chance to grab his second, he turned provider with a powerful effort that was spilled by Tamworth keeper Jas Singh and Obiero had the simple task of firing home to seal the points.
