Torquay deservedly earned three points from an exciting Devon derby as Tony Bedau's exquisite lob sealed a 2-1 win.

United looked the more dangerous side throughout and took the lead in the 26th minute.

Lee Canoville and David Graham linked up well, before Graham rifled the ball into the net.

Exeter forced an equaliser four minutes before the interval through James Coppinger, who lashed home after collecting Steve Flack's flick.

But on the stroke of half-time, Torquay sealed their victory.

Bedeau found himself with time and space, but still required plenty of skill to produce a wonderful lob over goalkeeper Kevin Miller and secure a second win for Torquay.
