The battle for the final Railway Cup place is still up for grabs after St Mary's lost at home to Corinthians on Saturday.
The shock defeat gave Rushen and Laxey the opportunity to take advantage and it was the Miners who took it, with a 3-1 victory at home to Gymns.
Rushen's 2-2 draw at Ayre means it is still a three-horse race for the fourth Railway place.
Meanwhile, St Georges beat Douglas Royal 6-1 to go clear at the top.
St Georges have a three-point lead after Peel and DHSOB drew 1-1 as second played third.
Elsewhere, Michael continued their fine recent form with a 2-1 win at home to Castletown.
