Old Boys remain fourth after thumping Gymns 5-0 at Tromode Road

Peel beat Ayre United 2-0 at Andreas Playing Fields on Saturday to move top of the Isle of Man Premier League.

The win sees the westerners move above St Marys who dropped their first points of the campaign as they lost 2-1 away at Laxey.

St Georges maintained their strong start with a thumping 6-0 win at rock botton Michael United.

Meanwhile, Douglas High School Old Boys remain fourth after thrashing Gymns 5-0 at Tromode Road.

Elsewhere, Castletown drew 1-1 with Corintians at the Stadium and Ramsey bagged their first win, beating Douglas Royal 3-0 at Ballacloan.
