Vagabonds' poor away form in South Lancashire/Cheshire Division One continued as they were beaten 36-7 at Winnington Park.

A poor first-half performance cost the Manx side as they fell to their third consecutive defeat.

The result means Vagabonds are now eighth in the table.

Meanwhile, both Manx sides in South Lancashire/Cheshire Division Two picked up a bonus point after good wins in their respective home fixtures.

Douglas beat Holmes Chapel 24-14 at Port-e-Chee whilst Ramsey maintained their unbeaten record at Mooragh Park with a fine 29-15 win against previously unbeaten Dukinfield.

Elsewhere, Vagabonds B maintained their lead in the Shimmin Wilson Manx Shield after a 11-0 win against a resurgent Castletown.

Southern Nomads kept up the pressure at the top with a 48-25 win over Douglas B.
