Ramsey gained promotion to the second division last season

Vagabonds thrashed Sale 60-0 at Glencrutchery Road on Saturday afternoon to move third in South Lancs/Cheshire Division One.

The Isle of Man side have now won two out of two, after their opening-day win over Ormskirk.

Meanwhile, Douglas were beaten 35-25 at home to Orrell in Division Two, but pick up their bonus point for scoring four tries.

Newly-promoted Ramsey were beaten 50-3 away at leaders Oldershaw.

Meanwhile, Southern Nomads opened up their Manx Shield Campaign with a solid 46-3 win over the Emerging Nomads.

Elsewhere, Castletown beat Douglas B 20-12 and Ramsey B were just edged out 15-11 by Vagabonds B.
