Joelle & Marino

Adventurer Joelle’s just turned 40 and she’s determined to prove to herself that she’s still as outgoing as she was in her days as a partygoer on London’s nightclub scene. She’s a natural leader and during Prized Apart she will draw on her experience as the head of her busy household. As the adventurer, Joelle will be leaving behind her husband, two daughters, two dogs and a cat called Simba.

Studio player Marino has been a London cabbie for 12 years and tries to work nights wherever he can to spend more time with his family. He’s also a DJ with regular slots at nightclubs all over the country and he even met Joelle on the dancefloor 21 years ago. Since then, he has never spent more than a few nights away from his wife, and while Joelle’s away he’ll miss their perfect nights in with a takeaway in front of the telly.
