Kate & Andrew

Adventurer Kate is a working mum who wants to prove that it’s not just men who can take on tough tasks and challenges. She loves exploring the Welsh countryside in her and Andrew’s caravan with their eight-month-old baby Hunter and her Labrador, Amber. She says that spending time away from her boys will be like 'losing a limb'. Kate likes to be in charge and in control so she’s nervous about entering the unknown on Prized Apart.

Studio player Andrew is a huge comic book fan and even managed to get Kate to agree to seeing X-Men on her due date. He believes in making new memories wherever he can and proposed to Kate at the Natural History Museum. Andrew’s taken a year out of work to be a stay-at-home dad and though he’ll miss Kate when she’s away, he’s looking forward to spending even more time with his new son.
