5 times popstars gave us All The Festive Feels, from up-and-comers to comebacks

It's that time of year again! No, not just when you begin going to work in the pitch black; it's Christmas adverts season! So far we've seen a rather charming boxer dog yearning to play on his family's trampoline but we just know there's gonna be loads more on their way.
Over the years there have been SO MANY amazing songs to accompany these festive ads so what about the artists behind them? And, importantly, what does it do for their careers?
Ellie Goulding - Your Song (2010)
She's easily one of the biggest pop stars in the UK - no, the world - but six years ago Ellie Goulding was still a newbie to the pop industry. Your Song, a cover of the classic Elton John tune, then became her biggest chart hit when, after appearing in the popular high street ad, it debuted at No.2 in the UK charts. She's gone from strength to strength since, with a couple of No.1 singles and albums since. No biggie, Els.
Grace - You Don't Own Me (ft. G-Eazy) (2015)
Known only as Grace - she doesn't even need a surname, tbh - the 18-year-old from Australia broke onto the music scene in 2015 with the catching, funky, and generally awesome You Don't Own Me. Her vocals were so impressive - they give us chills every time - that she was snapped up by a fancy high street outlet to front their Christmas 2015 ad campaign. Naturally, it led places and was one of the defining songs on this year's soundtrack to DC's Suicide Squad.
Gabrielle Aplin - The Power of Love (2012)
It was in 2012 that Gabrielle Aplin, then just 20, became a household name after her No.1 single of Frankie Goes to Hollywood cover The Power of Love. The ad that played with the song was about a lonely snowman who longed for someone to love - awwww. After the success of that she hit another high when she was invited to appear on BBC Introducing, where she played some stunning music indeed.
Garbrielle also gave us this superb One Direction Live Lounge cover...
Lily Allen - Somewhere Only We Know (2013)
OK, so we all knew who Lily was when she covered Keane's hit so wonderfully for all those animated animals... Not only did she donate some of the money from the chart-topper to Save The Children, but it gave her other new single, Hard Out Here ,which was released a few weeks earlier. It also made way for her announcement that she'd be appearing at Glastonbury 2014, too.
Laura Mvula - Ready or Not (2016)
Laura Mvula may have been around for a couple of years but there's no question her version of Ready or Not in a popular winter-branded campaign can only be a good thing (plus it's a REALLY COOL track, too). She's appeared on this year's Strictly to perform the single that came out on 4 November which will also appear on a re-release of her album, The Dreaming Room, out on 25 November.
