The mannequin challenge is similar to The Ice Bucket challenge in 2014 - albeit without a charity angle or anyone getting soaked in their garden.
The idea is simple - you and your friends make a short clip of a social situation. We've all done that before.
The only difference with this is, nobody moves. Everyone stays as still as a mannequin (hence the title).
And that really is it.
Of course, celebrities are already getting involved, with huge names sharing secrets of their lives with a mannequin challenge video of their own.
Beyoncé reunites with Destiny's Child for a mannequin challenge video
There are rumours the girl group are reforming for more than a viral clip, however.
Beyonce is the most recent star to get involved, reuniting with her Destiny's Child bandmates Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams to shoot a clip.
Destiny's Child recently launched a brand new Instagram account, which sparked hopes for a proper reunion of one of the biggest girl groups of all time.

And unlike The Ice Bucket Challenge, it's one we can enjoy in the middle of winter and keep dry while we're at it.
